You have my sincerest sympathies for having met up with those so-called Christians.

There is a difference between Christianity as a religion and Christianity as a philosophy. Some churches have become multi-media entertainment centers more so than places of worship. Nowadays, it seems there are few true Christians.

A true Christian is a person who emulates Jesus Christ. This person would love his enemies and be filled with the fruit of the spirit love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance and faith. If you meet a person with these qualities, it is likely that they are a Christian.

After the horrible incident of the murders of Amish school girls in Pennsylvania, to show forgiveness for the murderer, the Amish established a scholarship fund for the murderer's widow and children.

A website that I like is http://www.worship.net/. You can watch the 24-hour webstream which has gentle music, beautiful pictures of nature and sometimes Bible scriptures superimposed over the pictures. These are not the typical televangelists!

No one should have to scare you or force you into becoming a Christian. You should see an example from the Christian of a person who is overflowing with joy and happiness. That should make you want to become filled with the love and joy. Why would anyone want to become a crabby, cranky, critical Christian? I certainly sympathize with anyone who has met such a pseudo-Christian.

You may consider visiting a brethren or unitarian church. I have lived in many cities so I have had the experience to visit many churches. Although there are true Christians in many churches, I have found the highest number of them in those churches.

As far as forgiveness is concerned, you can ask for forgiveness when you have forgiven everyone who has ever hurt, used or abused you. This is difficult to do but when you pray to forgive others, God will help you to do this and then you can be forgiven. This is one of the things that Jesus taught.

Q01. why are christians the meanest group of people known to exsistance ??
A01. I've known some very mean individuals in my day and Christians are mild compared to them.

Q02.why do christinas feel as if they are better than anyone on this earth their for going around telling people "you're going too hell etc
A02. Christians are no better than the next guy/gal. If you do not do as the Father wishes, then you must face the same as Satan.

Q03. why can't we sin and ask for forgiveness the next day without having too go through this big ceremony of things
A03. You could do that, but lets say you did not survive till the next day. If your own earthly father knew that you went out into the world each day and sinned terribly do you think he would want to forgive you in the morning. I think he would get a little upset over this practice.

Q04. why are we gods enimies before we become saved.
A04. If you have any knowledge of God's Word you would know that not choosing God's Saviour is accepting the same price Satan will receive.

Q05. why does god let the devil get too us
A05. Satan is in service to God while we are in this world age. His job is to try us and by doing so we will become stronger.

Q06. why cant ge just destroy the devil...
A06. The devil is a dead man walking right now. If Jesus Christ be in you, then you have the power to rebuke him. We can't kill him for God has plans for this angel.

Q07. why can't homosexuals be accepted for who they are
A07. Homosexuality is a great sin to God. Its an abombination. Its a dirty filthy sin and has no part in the world as God has made it. I don't accept homosexuality as normal for its not.

Q08. why cant a murderer change his life around
A08. Thou shall not murder is a Commandment from God to us. A murderer can not gain salvation in the flesh. If found guilty in our courts, he/she is to be put to death to face the person that was murdered along with God.

You have asked many questions and I hope I have been able to help you. You could have gone to Our Father's Word yourself and your answers would have there for the reading.

You are not a Christian I believe? If you were the Spirit of God would be dwelling in you and comforting you all along.

My prayers go out to you as I type this and hope that you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour soon.><>

You are hanging around the wrong Christians. God judges, man does not have any right trying to do so. And if you read the Old Testament, 99% of so called Christians will go to hell too.The Old Testament left you no chance. The New Testament says that it is what is in your heart that makes you or breaks you as a Christian. The New Testament tell us that our God is forgiving God. All you have to do is ask with a true heart. True Christians do not judge. God loves all men. And those Christians that treat you this way? God is going to judge them too. Just tell them that. They are supposed to help people in need. Not condemn them. Jesus spent his time with the sinners. This was to help and give them guidance and hope. Tell that also to these so called Christians. God bless you my friend.

If you think Christians are mean, you haven't met any Christians.

Like anybody else, we have bad days, but you have been talking to the wrong people if you have such a bad concept of Christians, believe me your opinion would change if you were hanging out at my church.

you have a long list of why?s. you might want to add why can't we fly or why do I have to work for a living.

some things just are

you CAN sin and ask forgiveness if you are a child of God which only happens through Jesus Christ. But if you sin willfuly you will be chastised.

murderers HAVE changed their life around.

Homosexuality is forbidden by God, period. No matter how many excuses they make, perverted sex is the choice they have made.

and the Devil WILL be destroyed...... in God's timing, not yours

two things you must know, first, there IS a God
second, you are not Him

"why are Christians the meanest group of people known to existence ??"
Funny, I often hear children express that about their parents. I think it would be mean of us to keep the good news of salvation to ourselves and not share it, don't you? No Christian claims they are better than anyone else, a true believer is humble and knows that without the grace of God, they would be lost.

God judges us for salvation based on what we did with Jesus. Good works will not get you in the kingdom. Only receiving Christ as your savior will allow you into Heaven.

To say why can't we just sin, ask forgiveness and move on, is to cheapen what sin is, and what grace is. In our feeble, human minds, sin is no big deal, to God, it is a very big deal .One sin is worthy of eternal death. To think that you can sin, say "sorry" then go on as you were, trivializes sin and forgiveness.

We are born into sin and rebellion. We are born with a sin nature that naturally rebels against God. Unless one is born again, that is, born of the spirit, that sin nature will be the controlling force in that persons life and that person will live their lives in rebellion against God.

God could destroy Satan, but that wouldn't solve the problem. The sin "cancer" has already infected us. If God were to destroy all evil, none of us would survive.

We accept the homosexual for who he is, a creation of God. But, as Christians, we cannot accept the lifestyle that is clearly spelled out in Scripture as a sinful life. A murderer can change his life, if he receives Christ. His sins are forgiven and if the conversion was genuine, he will enjoy eternal life.

Not all Christians are this way. Many of them that I have ever met have been so loving and caring and nice to me. Maybe you haven't been around the right ones. But maybe there are some who are like this, but they have bad days just like anyone else. And only God can destroy the Devil in his time, not us. He tempts us, but if we are truly christians we can over come anything because God never said that the road ahead would be easy. He is real, and he will come back for his true followers.

I'm a christian and I agree with what you are saying to a certain extent. I believe that people like using the word christian as a safe haven, not so much how they actually live their lives. God loves us all even people who are not saved. I think that because Christians are human, and are going to make mistakes they get a little carried away with focusing on hell, rather than focusing on God's love that he has for all of us. This is from jeremiah 29:11-13 : "For I know the plans I have for you, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Here is one more verse on love, Gods love. 1 Peter 5:10 : My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants , because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead I have called you friends for everything that I learned from my father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit- fruit that will last. Then the father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other.
I am not trying to bible thump you but I just want to stress to you that the reason God allows things to happen is because we all have a free will. This world was not made to be this way but after adam and eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they knew just that, they knew the difference between good and evil and look at us now. He has a purpose for you and I know it can be a little scary, I don't know all the answers but if you allow God into your heart he will reveal everything you need to know. Even picking up a bible is a start. There are really great bibles that make it easy to understand. The word religion or religious is not a word I like to even use because that means you are speaking Gods words out of your mouth but thats all your doing is flapping your gums and not doing what his words say to do. I like to say that I have a relationship with God. Just remember that christians are people too, they are going to make mistakes. That's why it is important to trust God because people will always dissapoint you, but God will not. I hope I didn't bore you too much with my explanation. I hope and pray you recieved the answer you were looking for. (Here is a great place to start)

It's not Christians generally. It's fundamentalists generally of every religion. Fundamentalism appeals to a certain personality type that is dogmatic, doctrinairre, inflexible, insecure, and fearful of difference and hostile toward non-conformity. Many Christians do not share these traits, but the fundies dominate the public discourse. Fundies have more in common with the Pharisees than they do with Jesus.

God gives us the will to choose what we want, right or wrong. No one has the right to judge another person and tell them they are going to hell. Once your saved you can sin and turn around and ask for forgiveness, but you don't want to continue doing what you know in your heart is wrong. God is love, he loves us so much that he sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins. But we keep turning our back on him. If you gave your son for someone elses life wouldn't you want them to appreciate the sacrifice? The devil roams to and fro on this world for now, but his time is coming. It's not easy and not fair, but nothing is. Homosexuality is wrong, just like murder, and adultery, sin is sin. But the bible teaches us to hate the sin, not the sinner. Pray, just pray, talk to God like you would talk to a friend. You will be amazed how you will feel.
