I've been reading the bible for a while now..somethings are easy..some are not so easy to understand.

Is this real:

I've been taking walks and wondering about God. I walk almost every evening and I have found myself talking to God...I have noticed that I soon lose my thoughts...I know my mind is working but on a different level...it feels as if there is a conversation going on but not on a conscience level...I find myself saying things like...yes Lord...yes...yes Lord... This experience
is a very satisfying feeling. I find myself wanting this feeling. It's not the same when my wife or daughter goes with me...don't get me wrong I love them very much...but the alone time seems to be something God wants...and I want that too.

Am I crazy or is this real...has anyone else experienced this???

Seriously, who killed him? Was it the horrors commited by the church/followers that made people realize that it was unacceptable? Was it the sciences that led us to see a more accurate view of life and our universe? Was it the inconsistancy of the sects of the churches that led to such subdivision and eventually disbelief? Was it the ideal of personal freedom and discovery of other lifestyles? What had the biggest impact on the disbelief in God? If I missed any feel free to add in.

It's like he didn't really die for Christians' sins; he endured a couple of days of intense pain. However, I've seen people dying of cancer bear worse anguish before they perish, and they don't expect to rise again. I'm not saying Jesus didn't suffer, but it's not exactly like it was the worst case in history. If he knew he was going to be resurrected, where's the sacrifice?

Isn't everyone a "Son of Man". Why does Jesus say that, and who is the "Son of Man".

I have seen in wikipedia, and various dictionaries that in English there is a wh sound (ʍ) as in when and which.

Now I am a native speaker of the American dialect, midwestern to be exact. The sound to me in water, and when are the same...

Does this sound actually exist, or is it extinct? It this a British English sound that we don't use here??

When my husband and I first started dating we were driving down a highway. My window was cracked about 8 inches, because my cigarette smoke bothered him. All of the sudden a bird flew through the window and hit me directly in the head. The bird died, and fell between the seat and the door. His insides landed on my husband's shoulder. Is this the weirdest thing you have ever heard? Has it happened to anyone else?

People interpret the motives of interventionalists differently. An interventionalist like L. Ron Hubbard or Mohammad can be completely ineffective at the fault of no one. So if I don't accept Jesus Christ does that reflect my background or do I want to go to Hell?

Talking at length with a devout follower of Islam . I ask a lot of questions in a curious way (not an interrogative way at all). I do this with all organized religions as I do not ascribe to any of them and am curious as to exactly why others do. The man can only answer about 2 out of my 7 questions. At one point he says, “They say it is better to come to Islam as an infant, and then you are not plagued with doubts and questions.” I almost choke on my double vanilla latte (LOL). He's is he saying that if one is brainwashed into a religion at a vulnerable age it's "BETTER" (?!!) because then you don't t have to deal with pesky things like LOGIC, THINKING, QUESTIONS, ETC.?? I think that's exactly what he meant. Many ppl agree with the teaching (brainwashing) of religious points as early as age 3. I find this sickening yet true. What do you think?

i read an article about teens who call themselves "emos"and they claim they are against trends,but if thats so why do they all follow the same emo trnd look,and they claim to want to be diffrent but how can a person who dresses the same as others in their trnd group be diffrent,just wondering,sounds like a group trying hard to be diffrent yet actualy acting very trendy and drone like?

I know that the song is basically the story, but the chorus goes something like this:

Can anyone tell me who sings this and where I can get it?

I have always been in love with the poem and a couple of years ago, I heard the song, but I haven't heard it since.

Ok this Friday I am goin to a costume party and I want to stand out but I dont have alot of time to make sumthin and I dont want to spend too much money.
