"Open" relationships are more casually negotiated in gay 'loving' relationships than in straight marriages.

If gay men where granted marriage rights, do you think gay men could honestly vow to be 'faithful' to their partner.

I think faithfulness is unrealistic, naive for gay men to uphold. A good marriage vow for gay men would be "I promise to honestly communicate my sexual needs to you and include you in the decision-making process where sleeping with other men are concerned."

What do you think?

Summer vacations occasionally dragged, even though they were fun, so wondered when a kid (raised Lutheran) if heaven would be boring after a few hundred thousand years. Eternity is a HECK of a long time!

No, I'm not being snarky, and don't want diatribes OR extensive comments from ANYBODY'S religious books about how lovely the afterlife will be, contemplating the Eternal. But I'm wondering---seriously---how WILL we cope with such huge timespans? Will the Eternal blank our memories periodically, so each "day" is new to us? Will there be chances to nap for a million years or so, or will we get chances to redo/relive new lives if desired, or what?

I'm interested in reading/getting all sorts of opinions, beliefs, wishes, and hopes here, from all religious/spiritual perspectives---but please, let's keep things reasonably civil, ok? Thanks!

(Begins to brew nice tea and coffee and sits expectantly, waiting, with cookies handy....)

Are you able to sew a button on your shirt, cook for yourself, change the fluids in your car, do your own finances OR are there things you aren't able to do because you don't think you can?

I was wondering what was your wedding like and howdid you plan it? I know I will marry another femme, but have never witnessed a wedding with 2 femmes. Weddings I have witnessed between fems and butches are no different than straight weddings.

Sometimes when I look around at all the different people on our planet- all the firemen, business people, homeless, chinese, everyone, etc. I sometimes imagine everyone as little kids playing dress up. You know how kids can sometimes take a game too seriously and start fighting, and then an adult has to break it up? I can't help but picture adults as overgrown kids who take themselves a little to seriously. We fight about religion, we argue over money. Some people wear uniforms and others have nothing. I'm just kind of baffled and wonder if anyone else has a similar way of looking at the human race.

Good and evil cannot dwell together in the same heart, so a good man ought not to go into evil company.

When you begin a great work you can't expect to finish it all at once; therefore do you and your brothers press on, and let nothing discourage you until you have entirely finished what you have begun.
