any advice for converts? what do you feel are the most important things to emphasize in the beginning of your islam? people and things to avoid?....... i converted two years ago but have gone through a great deal of things since then that kept me from practicing (i wont go into any details)...... now that all that is over.... i'm not sure where to begin..... your help is greatly appreciated....

be involved with the public government such as schools and the likes should they lose their tax exempt status?
if the seperation of church and state no longer exsisted shouldn't they be held to the same standards as everyone else?

I am really good at figuring out phrases and sentences if I'm given the first letters of each word. For example: given "RTLL" I figured out, with no additional clues, the sentence was "Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosy." Some others I have figured out (within a matter of minutes) are "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all"[IYDHAGTSDSAAA], "How good was Baja? [HGWB]" - referring to a trip to Baja Fresh made earlier in the day, "All dogs go to heaven" [ADGTH] and "All these ****** and all these hoes, but ain't nobody here gon' ****" [ATNAATHBANHGF].

I'm pretty sure this means I should be an international spy fronting as a successful jiggalo. Or else I should just be paid to exist -- I think.

I am not gay but I have friends and family that are. If the roles were reversed and you could not get married because you were not of the same sex and you wanted to be able to support your bf and child financially, medically and in other ways that only people of the same sex could how would you feel? Think about it.

If you have relatives waiting to get in, don't answer, cuz youre biased. What is the point in having immigration? People say they do work natives don't want, and I agree for the most part, but that means that there is something internal that is amiss and our values, our willingness to do hard physical labor, need to be reinforced. You dont bring in outsiders, you fix the people inside. Immigration just for immigration sake is no reason. "Weve always been a nation of immigrants" doesn't make sense either, a company doesn't hire more people than it needs, if it takes 7 to run a business, you don't hire 13 just for no reason. Weve got 300 million, why not work with the people already here?

I am willing to help people with their advance to yoga and direct them to the highest trance known as bhakti.

I've been over so many options. I already have a nonprofit organization which is spiritually based. I'm too old to expect much in the way of getting a college degree. I have to narrow down my options to this. I don't believe I have any choice. But, I need ideas and tips. Thanks!

I went squid-jigging once when I was a kid, it was a strange experience, it was used for bait by the fishermen. I grew up in a fishing village in Canada. :)
