I understand why Mohammed did it but I don't understand its acceptance for all other Muslims. Are women only capable of loving one man but a man can love more than one woman? It doesn't seem to make any sense. I can at least understand its need, for example, if there was a shortage of male adults after a war or something. However, if a man's excuse is "Well, would you rather me have an affair?" and just because he wants more sex... it is not acceptable. I think some have twisted this very limited circumstance of polygamy in Islam and have turned it into an excuse to have more women.
Thoughts?

I live in a predominantly multi-cultural city, and have travelled to many big cities around the world, and have noticed that 99.9% of the racism I have heard are from non-whites. I have a lot of white friends as well, but have never heard any form of racism from them, on the other hand, if a non-white individual was to attack them, it would not be considered a "hate-crime" whereas if it was vice-versa, it would automatically be declared a "hate-crime." (I am not denouncing that racism from whites does not longer exist).

I actually have nothing against gay people, basically because I'm gay myself.
However, I'm really annoyed with those gay parades and campaigns! You don't see Heteros organising hetero parades.

And the more homosexuals defend themselves and try to bring public awareness, the more the common people are going to hate them and think that their an "abomination" in the eyes of God or whatever.
Advice, to all homosexuals: Just keep everything low-key and let the heteroes be.

And gays making out in public is worst. Like I said, just keep everything low key.

who thinks that african americans should be called black americans? I'm not racist or anything, but I remember telling a lot of " Afircan Americans' that they are from Africa and they deny it and get angry. So if they don't want to get involved with Africa they shouldn't be called african americans then, and the only suitable name for them is black american.

When I walk down the halls in any given building, at any given workplace, I notice some people stare at me from a distance. Once we get within a normal speaking range, since a person is blatenly staring at me, I'll say hello, and then they either look away or look down. What is the deal with that??

You tell people humans came from a magic garden with an "apple tree of sin" growing in it. You belive people speak different languages because we tried to build a tower to heaven and god got mad. Your ancestors crusaded around murdering millions of people, spitting on your own crosses, warship severed heads, and preforming sick sexual acts. Your trusted priests are so convinced that homo$exuality is a choice they r@pe and molest thousands of boys in secrecy, not knowing how to confront their (obviously) unchosen affliction. Not to mention, you tell people who were borned and raised a different religon they will burn in a fire for the rest of time? .. I could go on forever, but like I asked are catholics completely nuts?

Seems a bit stupid to have a religion helping to destroy the earth by overpopulating it..... just so that religion can have the biggest 'flock' !

I reckon the God, if he/she/it ever existed, would be a bit peeved with this selfish attitude and would embrace those people who actually thought about all the animals and the survival of future generations.

I'm 19 (almost 20) and my boyfriend is 22. Our one year anniversary is this month, and we arn't planning on getting hitched any time soon. We are sexually active and practicly live at each other's houses (I've got a toothbrush at his place along with several changes of clothes, sleep over there about 3 nights out of 5) and we're currently looking for apartments in order to move in together.

Right? Wrong? When do you think a couple is ready to move in together? Really, we're going to do it no matter what, I was just curious about what other people thought about "living in sin" as it were in this day and age. Please give reasons for your answers.
