this book made more sense to me than anything else i have read
after reading " what God wants " you can see the difference in the writing style
Neale would have to be a very very clever man to have written two different books in a totally different style or..... he was indeed inspired by God in the first
the God that speaks through the book is everything i would hope God to be
funny , intelligent , logical and a little sarcastic
the way things are repeated in the book also makes me feel this was not penned soley by the author as he repeats his questions in a selfish sort of way only to be answered again by God and almost told off for it
the best part is ....
he says to God ..." God cannot write a book "
only for God to reply ... you think i can part seas ... move mountains etc but i cannot write ?
or words to that effect
yes it is a great book and certainly one that gets you thinking xx

If GOD spoke to somebody, HIS HEAD WOULD BLOW UP!
THE EARTH WOULD SHAKE!
But I have no problem with talking to other kinds of Life.
I emailed that dude. He can talk to GOD right? But couldn't handle my conversation. Busted his bubble when I said it was just a lifeform acting like God. To them, there's no separation.
People get bent out of shape about that. Like they was LIED to!
But higher beings don't have the EGO TRIPS we do. If they can
give us a vision of Jesus or somrthing to help us, they will. To us it's MAN THEY LIED! Get over it!
I liked the part about praying.
How we get exactly what we ask for. Like we say, "God, I NEED
this." And that's what will happen. We'll be needing it.
Or if we say, "God, I WANT that." That's what will happen. We'll be wanting for it.
It said to pray with thanksgiving. As if God already gave us what
we need. I've really been trying to incorporate this concept into
my praying.
Don't say NEED, don't say WANT, Say THANKS GOD!

I know people who thought it was very helpful; I didn't find it that helpful. I found 'A Course in Miracles' to be much more helpful to me. For me, Neal's 'automatic writing' seems to be coming more from the ego side of him than the author the Course. Again, this is just my opinion --- whatever is helpful is all that matters. Nothing in this world is really the Truth -- everything is just a set of concepts/tools that should be used to get to a direct experience of the Truth.
