Don't be offended please. But if man was created in the image of God, and man has a penis therefore God should have a penis. Do you agree? So does God also pee and poop?

I don't think that God has a gender but that is just me.

In case you miss my additional details on one of your previous questions, I am re-posting them here. You had asked several questions in your "more details" section and I felt they were important enough to answer, though please note: You asked a lot of questions so my post is pretty long.

________________________________________________

I see from your additional detail that you are missing the message before your frustration and even a bit of arrogance. Try to calm your frustrations a bit because I think God really is trying to answer you, just be still for a little while and listen. K? Sincerely!

I say again: It is not a Christ-ians duty to *CONVERT* you, but simply to SHARE. It is the HOLY SPIRIT'S JOB TO DO THE ACTUAL CONVERSION, which takes place in your heart, through your *humble submission* to His promptings. (Though a Christ-ian can indeed and is most joyful to share and walk you through the steps of repentance and the seeking of forgiveness and the receiving of salvation from the Lord Jesus Christ). The actual "conversion" (for lack of a better word) is something special between you and God.

Let me address your questions one at a time now that I actually have some specifics to work with;

Question:
"What has to happen before the Second Coming of Christ? All men have to become Christians..."

Aanswer:
Actually your assumption at the end of your question is incorrect. All men do not *have to become Christians* This is why God has given all men free will. If it was demanded of all men to follow Christ, then Christ would have just pre-programmed us to follow him, but He did not. He loves us enough to grant us our freedom to choose Him or deny Him, even if in our denial it breaks His heart.

Question:
"Why did the colonist do this in the Americas/Africa/Asia etc. to be nice?"

Answer:
Your thought process is sound reasoning, but it is important to also concider that these people had a duty ONLY TO SHARE and it is unfortunate that some in their zeal for Christ have over stepped their bounds and resorted to FORCED CONVERSION, leaving people as yourself to believe that this is Christ's message and His way. This is NOT what Christ did while He was here and this is not what he has asked of his followers. Forced conversion and disrespect for human life and the absence of love in any message is not the way of Christ and should not be the way of the Christian who desires to share Christ's message.

Question:
"And how the heck is Jesus God and he is also the son of God."

Answer:
Many a great mind have tried to wrestle with this concept and I admit that the fullness of the Tri-unity of God, being Father, Son and Holy Spirit all while remaining as three separate deity's is a lot to grasp, but ponder these verses as I think God's Word alone would do well for you here, rather than my opinion:

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!" (Deuteronomy 6:4)

"and God said, 'Let US make man in OUR IMAGE, after OUR LIKENESS.'" (Genesis 1:26) What is their image? What is their likeness? We see that our image is further described in Thessalonians 5:23, below)

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may YOUR WHOLE SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

Note: If we are made, according to Genesis 1:26 in "their" [being God's and Jesus' and the Holy Spirit's image] then it makes perfect sense that later Thessalonians would describe us as having a Spirit, Soul and Body. Hence the concept of 3 in 1 being. ***We are also three in one, "made in the image of God," as He too is three in one.

Ever receive a Christmas card referring to Jesus name as IMMANUEL? Well, this is referring to this verse in Isaiah;

Isaiah 7:14-"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" (Immanuel literally means "GOD WITH US"). Here is God again, as man, as Jesus.

1 Timothy 3:16-"And without controversy GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

Question:
"and why did Jesus die for my sins before I commited them?"

Answer:
That is pretty awesome isn't it? That God knew you before you were yet created? That he would foresee the coming of your existence and prepare your path in advance? Let me see if I can find some verses to explain why He loved us all so much to do this, though I suggest that this question of yours leads to many a sub-category and we could study and ponder this for eternity, that is how glorious the answer is to this question of yours.

When Adam and Eve sinned and ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (No one knows if it was really an apple)... Then sin entered into God's perfect creation. Slowly, ever since, sin has been systematically destroying God's perfect creation, yet God saw what our sin nature was capable of doing and has made provision for our escape through his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. And...

Romans 5:8 says;
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, BUT THAT THE WORLD [Past, present and future] MIGHT BE SAVED [from the ever present decay and demise that sin having entered in has brought upon us].

18"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We can have assurance in our salvation that we will not be condemned because Romans 8:1 says "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Question:
"If not believing in God is a sin then didn't he also die to forgive this sin?"

Answer:
You are onto a VERY IMPORTANT thought. And God has answered this knowing that many would ponder it.

Remember in the beginning when I explained that it is not the Christians duty to perform the actual conversion, but that it is the Holy Spirit's promptings that you have a choice to deny or accept? Well your question is answered here in the book of Matthew. Read the verse and then I will try to explain further.

Matthew 12:31-32
31And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, BUT ANYONE WHO SPEAKS AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN, EITHER IN THIS AGE OR IN THE AGE TO COME."

See? You are correct to wonder about the sin of denying the Holy Spirit in your life. That is, according to the passage above, the ONE AND ONLY SIN that God in His righteousness is unable to forgive.

You have to believe in what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you (For all the world) as your once and for all, sacrifice and atonement (payment) for sin, before you can claim the benefits of that sacrifice.

God can't give it to you unless you ask for it. Why? Because he loves you so much that he gave you FREE WILL to accept His free gift of GRACE through FAITH in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!

Thanks for your questions as they afforded me a wonderful study of my own and reminded me of all that God has done for me, for you and for all the world if only they might believe.

Hi Jose S!! :o) You're RIGHT!! God does NOT have a gender. Neither does He have a corruptible body - like WE have. [A body that dies] He has no need of water or food and therefore no need to ever go to the bathroom. When people say that God is a man - they are probably referring to Jesus - for God became a man and walked among us. [2000 or so years ago] THAT part of God would have a penis - because Jesus had a corruptible body. [At least up until He was crucified] Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

Though your question sounds vulgar, the spirit behind the question has to be understood and answered. It is only in the Christian and Islam religions that God is a He. There are many Christian theologians who are doing research on this issue and there are many feminists who have revolted against this representation of God. In other oriental religions God is either just a genderless entity or god is both male and female. You may do some reading of oriental religious literature in this regard.

God is neither male or female and cannot be equated to human physical dimensions. God is a much greater entity. I dont think the term He was meant to be interpreted in a literal sense though. It was just used instead of she because of the social position of women at the time. That is grossly wrong though.

The second member of the Godhead, Jesus Christ gave up what ever kind of body He had being God and came to live "AS" you live, and and yes that included all of being human, and when He returned to Heaven He told tomas to come and put His fingers in the marks, when He returned Jesus took His human body not just for the few years He was here but "FOR ALL OF TIME" just for you, are you ready as we live in A world that everyone dies, and you don't know when your probation time is up, like the thief on the cross your as good as dead, you and me are walking in our own grave now, The Way out has been created by your creator, get to know it better, free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com God bless you. God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them
reflecting our nature
So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea,
the birds in the air, the cattle,
And, yes, Earth itself,
and every animal that moves on the face of Earth."
God created human beings;
he created them godlike,
Reflecting God's nature.
He created them male and female.
God blessed them:
"Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!
Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air,
for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth."

Gen 1: 26-28 [The Message]

Under the Christian paragim, we are body, soul and spirit... so it is possible that God was meaning that our spirit was to be made similar to his.

And yes, Jesus had a penis as he was born an ordinary man with a god-spirit.

People do not say that God "is a man"; rather, that He reveals Himself as Father, etc., in His relationship to His creation.

No. I do not agree with you.. I can understand your choice of words because a person of 6 or 7 years of age is limited in their choice of words.

However, God is Spirit. Notice, we are not even saying that God is A Spirit; Rather, that God is Spirit., That is the very nature or essence of God.

God describes relationships using "human" terms ... describing Himself as the groom of Israel (Israel being the "wife" of Jehovah)

You are confusing Relationships and Anthromophoric descriptions.

Why do people keep saying that God is Father? Well, probably because He has described Himself as being a Father of the faithful; as being the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, etc.

We human we have limited imagination - there has to be a begining and end to everything, we don't truely understand the meaning of "infinite".

Similarly we don't seem to understand that God does not have to be a male or a female.

Boy, you confident are lacking the total which technique of "in God's image guy became created". do not you already recognize that there is better than one definition of the note "image"? "image" would not could recommend "actual image" in any respect! What about attempting to imagine of it in the different case, which contain "non secular image"? God created mankind with the flair for non secular enlightenment and evolvement, which contain He Himself has. What we "do with it" of direction, is as a lot as us. i imagine it really is ridiculous to attempt to conceive the theory that "image" refers to some thing "actual" in any respect... our bodies are only a vessel- a "container", so as that you'll chat, for some thing significantly better- our "spirits"- the section human beings that "is going on" after our actual lives...it really is the section human beings that classes us in making judgements about what's "incorrect" and what's "proper", it really is the section human beings that "feels", it really is the position "love" is born and manifested, it really is the section human beings that makes us who we are and holds the flair for "what we will be".... it truly is the component that God gave of Himself and proficient to us. it truly is what i have self belief the Bible is attempting to inform us, and in case you extremely imagine about it, would not that make better sense?
