You tell people humans came from a magic garden with an "apple tree of sin" growing in it. You belive people speak different languages because we tried to build a tower to heaven and god got mad. Your ancestors crusaded around murdering millions of people, spitting on your own crosses, warship severed heads, and preforming sick sexual acts. Your trusted priests are so convinced that homo$exuality is a choice they r@pe and molest thousands of boys in secrecy, not knowing how to confront their (obviously) unchosen affliction. Not to mention, you tell people who were borned and raised a different religon they will burn in a fire for the rest of time? .. I could go on forever, but like I asked are catholics completely nuts?

You know, you are confusing the established Church and its dogma with its flock. And it's not only Catholics but all involved in the Judea/Christian/Muslim range of beliefs. And even they have watered their wine. Creation and stuff should not be taken literally bu symbolically. As for the rest well the church has always been with the current power and is made up of human beings like you and me. The crusades had nothing to do with religion and all to do with plunder and politics. Now whether they are nuts or not they do not behave any different than the rest of us including non believers.

All religious dogma is meant to be symbolic. It was the only way to relate teachings before people learned to think more for themselves, (Which only goes too show you we, as a human race have got a LONG way to go..., I know)

i think of you have Catholics mixed up with Baptists there, Catholics have a miles extra average view considering the fact that Vatican II, a metamorphosis in practices and ideologies, not a sequel, the place because of the fact the Baptists are the hardliners with their crap of yoking (human beings of like faiths marrying), going to hell for not being christian, and speaking concerning to the tower of babel. sure Catholics are to blame for the crusades, a fabulous little 3 hundred year era the place it became into claimed to be spreading the religion back to the holy lands, yet ended up being a pillage fest. And sure there's a difficulty with clergymen and molestations, yet it is genuine in virtually any faith or grownup/minor relationship, your going to have those adults who in simple terms would be unable to maintain their palms to themselves, the information in simple terms splatters it over the region because of the fact human beings placed clergymen up on those pedestals and overlook that they are human. i became into raised catholic and that i can enable you realize i became into taken aback at countless the flaws i became into instructed by potential of friends who have been raised protestant and baptists and what's taught, and are not getting me began on those new age church homes, they are not extra valuable of their teachings than the baptists.
