I think some people do this. but I think maybe they think one way about something. and they want to tell everyone how they feel.
but then they find out that the way they think is not very popular so they don't want to start anything. so they go with the crowd.
I think they are Just people who don't think much of them selfs and afraid to tell their point of views. Hope this makes a little sense i am half asleep tonight.

Are you talking about pack mentality or just faking it to fit in with different people? Most people want to feel accepted, unfortunately it can take a lot for some people to find people who accept you as is (without having to alter your behaviour around them).

I think they pretend to have changed the way they think to be accepted, unless if they belong to the 'go with the flow' group that does not really think.

Yes, people will do anything to fit in a crowd.......... thanks to mom and dad, for not instilling values in them when they are young.
