Why is it given as a commandment in the bible? " Thou shalt not kill"
When you tell someone as an order not to do something in a sense you keep reminding him of that. Like if you tell a kid not to look over his shoulder while you are away he will do it.
Does it not make more sense to tell the person that killing destroys something in you aswell, makes you a violent and angry person and is against your own self preservation like in hinduism.

This question is specifically for people who are racist, but anyone can answer. The "Freedom Center" in Cincinnati is thinking of offering DNA tests so that people can track their ancestry. Would you be willing to take the test or would you be afraid that you may find another race in your ancestry?
Anyone can answer...I'm just curious. Please be honest, tell me why or why not. Don't just say "I'm all white (or whatever color) I don't need no test"

Is it proper etiquette for someone to blow their nose at the table, during a meal? I have a friend who has severe allergies, so her nose is always draining. She never hesitates to blow her nose while we are having a meal. She will say "excuse me", before she blows. I am hesitant to say something because I know she has this chronic problem. Growing up, I was taught to exuse myself from the table and go blow privately. What do you think?

I have a friend who brags constantly. He's very smart and talented in most arenas and subjects in school. It gets really obnoxious, especially when I'm not doing so well in a class and he tells me, "Well I am!" I always do better than him in history class, but I never rub that in his face. If so, why do you do it and how? I have been a Christian since childhood, but have often found it difficult to fully accept church teachings. I am starting to adopt Buddhist beliefs and practices. I feel that God is guiding me in that direction. But I still love Jesus and everything he taught. I would find it hard to totally break with Christianity.

Alot of people are not aware of the second death. They just know of a resurection. The bible tells us

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years

So all those that have kept the Lords law will be in the first ressurection. those that don't will be in the second ressurection.

I asked myself, how can we stop people from hating us, here is my answer:
Stop having homoerotic parades, Is there really a need to have ***** and breast hanging everywhere? This gives people the impression that we are not stable enough to raise children.

Give up the rainbow, I understand that we want people to know that we are gay, but a rainbow flag, is a little to much. If you want people to stop steriotyping us give up the rainbow, it is VERY girly. Not Im not saying we shouldnt have a flag, but why cant we have something more suddle.

Go to church. If we give people the impression that we have some "morals" and that we are not sex crave porn addict, you will see people opinion of you change.

I know alot of people isnt going to like what I have to say, but my real issue is that we always want to be PROUD COLORFUL AND LOUD, but in my opinion we need to be Americans with high morals, if we want to stand out, suffer the conseques of right wing ratical opinion of you!

Seriously, if we reject their right to marry, why not take away other rights.

Marriage isn't just about kids By the Way.
When you're injured and unconcious you have to be a family member to visit in the hospital.

Why should gay people be denied this right?
If we deny them that, why not stop them from driving too?
