I mean, Christ, when the Mob dabbled in my town it was clean and SAFE!! Now its turning into a sh*thole and crime is on the rise. No, I am not a racist, just stating the facts. American society is like a happy fish drenched in a bucket filled with God. The Christian God is all over the place. Christians form by far the minority of the country.

Minorities (like gay people, or atheists or muslims,etc, etc) seem to have to fight for their equal rights.

Yet, I see a lot of American Christians on this forum complaining about how oppressed they are. How hurtful it is to them if others claim their equal rights.

I live in Holland, I can't even begin to describe how silly the way this group of Christians is acting looks to me. But I truly wonder how this works. How can a majority, a large majority even, become such whiners in a society that is truly drenched with their God?

An "absolute" refers to some kind of standard by which we understand or judge something as being either true/false, right/wrong, black/white, hot/cold, helpful/harmful, etc.
The atheist's claim to be able to "absolutes" without God rests upon a very basic error in logic. He has switched the meaning of the word "absolutes" without mentioning this to the theist. The so-called "absolutes" of the atheist are finite, cultural, subjective, imperfect, mutable and temporal. This is, of course, a contradiction of terms because the atheist's "absolute" is a non-absolute!
Such relative "absolutes" would be useless so far as ethics is concerned because we can make up whatever so-called "absolutes" Thus the so-called "absolutes" of the atheist are only the subjective projections of his personal feelings, ideas, biases, etc.

What do you think God is up to when He makes a guy unable to have any close relationship with a girl? I'm such a guy and God makes everything hard for me. To be honest, I do not even have a female friend. I'm not shy, not lack of confidence, not cocky but eveytime I speak to a girl, she'll give me a cold shoulder. Is it because I'm slightly overweight? Forget about losing weight, I've done everything I can, sports, diet etc but no results.
I need to know because I'm so boring nowadays since my guy frens all refuse to hang out with me bcuz they prefer to hang out with gals.
Also, no gal ever hook me up in conversation (in class or social places). I mean those who is stranger to me. Why? Why am I always have to make the first move only just to be frens and I always get a bad response?

I juz cant believe this can happen to me unless God plans it.
Do I still have to believe in this God?

PS: I'm not ugly.

Christians, I am teaching a course about evangelism and just thought I'd throw this question out there. Be honest. Do you share your faith with others regularly, and if not, why not? What are your concerns/fears/excuses etc.

Also if you are willing to say, how do you share your faith, and what is the general reaction that you get with your method?
