How do I get a new deed for my car if i lost the original when i moved?

Go to the title bureau with your photo ID and maybe the registration if you have it. tell them you need a copy of the title. If you are still paying on the car them you need to go to the dealer where you got the car from. I ahve done this many many times. It has cost me a good amount of money.

In most states you can file for a lost title at the motor vehicle dept. or the county court house. Tell them just that, "I need to file for lost title". This may not work if there is a lien on the vehicle.
