Do you think the faith would be more cohesive and less violent if there were a central leader, like a pope?

Religions where the poorest people give money and that money flows upward to the wealthiest people makes no sense to me. There is something wrong with the fact that the vatican could feed the hungry people in the world but chooses to hoard the wealth instead.

One of the great things about Islam is that everyone prays together. Poor next to wealthy. Each mosque is it's own little community with the Sheik and Sheikas leading spiritually. Charity is distributed as needed.

At one time there was nothing more violent than the Catholic religion---led by the Pope.

Because Hierarchy 1400 years ago in Judaism and Christianity misused it and made ppl = to God

YES!!!!!!!!

I wish there was, it would set a set of rules to live by and eliminate all of this "They are not true Muslims" and "They are not following the Quran" stuff.

There is non of this with the Catholic Church, our beliefs are in black and white, in a book, that anyone can read, it is called the Catechism of the Catholic Church, you can agree of disagree, but there is no ambiguity.

There is no hierarchy in Christianity either. The Pope is Catholic.... a bit different.
