Beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best tool to translate spanish to english would be a spanish speaker. There is no perfect (or even close) online translator, because there are too many variables in language - regionalisms, word order, colloquial phrases, etc. I would be more than happy to help you with a translation - contact me through yahoo if you want.

Probably http://babelfish.altavista.com, but keep in mind that any online translator will give you somewhat garbled language. If you just want to translate something so that you yourself can understand it, that's good enough. But if you need a quality translation, you have to get a human. For short translations, you can post here and people are usually pretty happy to help.
