Can anyone help? I am a teen. My Grandmother of whom I was very close to died about 4 years ago. Only the thing is I still haven't really come to terms with it.The thing is when she died I I ended up due to circumstances an awful amout of high school. Therefore I missed pretty much all of my religious education and therefore I don't really understand where she's gone.
I have a question I was wondering whether anyone out there could possibly help me with. This is: what does The Bible/Christianity say that Heaven is like? What does it look like? (are there any descriptions) and what happens up there??
Also I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question (only I just wondered because I missed such a lot of school) but do they give a good all-round general education in Religion in High schools??
What sort of things about religion do they teach you?
CAN ANYONE POSSIBLY HELP?????

If you are a gay man, why are you attracted to female looking men? Why wouldn't you like rugged tough men, if men are what you want? Or why do you act feminine to pick up other men? And also with women, why would you be attracted to women who look male or act rough? I just don't get it. If you are a man that likes men, why would you want female qualities and looks in your partner? Now, don't get offended, its just a question. AND also don't be like 'not ALL gays.' I am trying to understand, not trying to be mean.

Religion/belief is only a THEORY, so why do people get on believers of the "theory of evolution" when religion/creation is only a THEORY itself??

Even while the evolution believers at least have an uncertainty of how it really is because much is still not known and being searched for, the religion people think they are sure they KNOW their THEORY is real when they have no "proof" other then a book says so.

Just an observation. I mean, it doesn't make their cause inviting. You don't see anyone that's anti-Christian that has a screenname such as "sunflowers_in_summer" or "surfer_guy" or just cute/nice stuff like that. They seem to be stuff like "night_stalker" or the like.

Tell me this - are gay men more prone to pedophilia more so than lesbians, hetrosexuals. I am not predjudice towars the gay community, but I had an experience with a pedophile that makes me question whether sexual preferences result in sexual assault towards children. It was very painful and I know this was about me learning some spiritual lesson. God Bless

I don't exactly believe in them, but the fact that I could have sworn that I saw my father, who has been dead for 15 years, makes me wonder. Of course, this is a bit spiritual, because I had prayed to God to allow me to see my father, but who knows. Anyone have a possible answer?

Considering that there are more creatures on this earth than you could possibly count, evolution must have taken place at a remarkable rate considering the earth is only 4 billions years old. With all the creatures that no longer exist because of dying out and life didn't actually start 4 billions years ago according to you but only hundreds of millions of years ago, there must have been changes on an almost daily basis. What happened then? Did evolution just stop? Shouldn't we be seeing these changes before our eyes? Shouldn't chickens have lost their wings by now because they no longer need them, except to feed us I mean? We should be seeing something according to you. Please explain what happened.

These are two questions that I have searched for three days for. And still - no answer. This was my last resort. I've learned quite a bit about Greek culture and people, but I couldn't tell you (with the exception of the yawn - Ancient Greek mythology) why they have personal habits that differ from ours. I need the answer by tomorrow or I'll take a reduced grade.

I suppose I'll have to take a reduced grade. Because I've exhausted every know source and I'm tired. But I greatly appreciate your answers - especially Chani - and no - I'm not obsessed with Greeks - just trying to get a decent grade on a stupid History project.

actually, they think it's cool that they're here the way they are. They're all ignorant acting people, one even tries to shoot the neighborhood pets with a bee-bee gun. (2 cats) What do you think and what do you think about Mexcicans? Remember that one of these also sells drugs in my neighborhood.
