I never understood why Jews consider Jesus the last prophet. There has got to be a logical reason he is the last recognized prophet... (like I am totally wrong and he is not recognized at all.)

as said, to judaism, jesus isn't a prophet.
in fact hes not anything but a teacher.
its not that god isn't free to, but that he simply did not.
god is FREE to do whatever he wants. but its a matter of understanding what he did or didn't do.
and jesus simply was not the jewish messiah, or a prophet, or anything relevant to judaism at all.

Don't you know it's not polite at all to say Dear Jew friend? You say, Dear Jewish friend. So tell me, who is he recognized by as the last prophet? Certainly not by the Jews, so it's got to be by the Christians. So what you are really asking is..."why don't you accept Jesus as the Messiah?" I'm not a Jew but a Christian.As for why He was their last prophet.It took place at the mount of transfiguration.Jesus stood with Moses ( the law giver ) and Elijah ( the prophet ). after they were taken up Moses and Elijah Jesus alone was left.After this a voice from heaven said this is my beloved Son ( hear ye Him ).All the law and prophecy was for filled in Christ the Son of God.He is the Messiah that the Jews failed to recognize.

100 odd years later a fictional writer named mathew embelished his life and it became popular under emperor constantine

if like GOD and TODD AND TOAD means HET=HIT then Jesus was a PROP HIT. so no ww2 says alot of Jews were PROPHET ie HET pronounced truthfully as HIT. ha hah hahah

Jesus is not the last prophet according to the Jewish tradition - According to Jewish tradition, Jesus was an imposter who was executed for blasphemy.
