Ok,
hypothetical,

you can choose between Christianity, Judism, Islam, Hinduism, Wicca, etc.

I'd say the Budhism that involves a diety, but not the Budhism that is a "philosophy" - which most of us pretty much are already as Atheists and Agnostics - the Budhist within us but without a God to worhship.

Which would you choose and why.

I saw one of the pastors from my church subcribed to it! I only have a free trial so I was able to view and chat with singles. He SUBCRIBED to it! He wants a woman that is BI !!!!! This man is married with 3 young girls andan 18 year old girl! I am afraid for them.( the small ones) What in the world should I do. We are a very small church trying to expand, I have known the head Pastor all my life, The man on the web sight is new to our church.Should I warn my Pastor, should I print out a copy of his page and annonomusly leave it in my Pastors office? So obviously when monotheism became prominant, the status of women went down the tubes. All of this Paulian nonsense about asking your husband to ask something in church rather than speaking and stuff like that is a good example, but the OT is full of similar crapola. The Koran, from what I can tell, has been misinterpreted to the detriment of women.

Usually, people say that this was done by patriarchal societies to control women, but I think it was more likely done as religious propaganda to dissuade people from Goddess worship.

How many Jews and Christians today know what the Shekinah is? It strikes me that the early monotheistic religions did not supress the Feminine, but we do today.

"Because if one cannot believe what is written in the bible then it has no purpose or meaning."

So, if you are already doubt what the Bible says, don't believe in it, think it is fictional, etc.etc. then why can't you just let it be at that??? You don't believe, we do. What is the point of asking questions here about something you believe to be fake?? Not to mention, ask questions that really have no profound effect on people's lives now??? Even when answered honestly, you still don't believe because you already "know" it's not true. So is the point of all this to play "devils advocate"? If we cannot prove our stance to you, what makes you think you can prove your stance to us?????
