me...i will. Last year, I waited until the very last moment and it was ridiculous. I could have saved lots of money by buying during certain sales and probably saved myself some time and energy. Usually around August or September should be when the "normal" person should start shopping. LOL. I then usually have to settle for something that is so-so because of this. Oh well, maybe I learned my lesson this time.

i start shopping almost immediately after christmas the prior year. you can get a lot of really good bargains on stuff after christmas. I never have to worry about crowds in stores or not finding what i want if i shop all year long. if i see something that reminds me of a certain person, i pick it up and put it away. this also prevents me from being in debt from the holidays. buy one gift every month all year and you'll be set at christmas and be able to really enjoy the holidays.

Hi, Yeah, I always say that I am going to go shopping early. I am a single mother of 2, and I end up going out last minute using the credit card, and splurging. I actually plan on starting it the beginning of October. I am going to put a bunch of stuff on Lay away, and then pay it all off by christmas... (**without racking up the credit card bill... =D)
Good luck!

I always say I'm going to start early like October but usually I end up buying some stuff for me. I usually get serious about mid-late November. I have alot to buy for & usually they don't give a wishlist until later.
Plus all the good sales are closer to Christmas.

No we don't could desire to purchase Christmas presents. i individually have a mixed emotions approximately presents. I in many situations i like to furnish presents yet do no longer care lots for receiving them. i believe undesirable whilst somebody spends sturdy funds for present i can not or won't use. So your cookies sound great to me, cookies are in no way refused in my abode. actual a number of my widespread presents weren't offered. A drawing from a niece (now framed), a bottle my sister-in-regulation fished from the trash (I carry at the same time glassware) or an angel a chum of mine made (that comes out each and every Christmas). i think of your cookies are closer to the genuine spirit of Christmas than blindly spending funds. satisfied holidays.

All but 3 of mine are bought, wrapped and in the closet waiting to be given. My cards are labeled but not filled.
I hate the rush of the season so I buy early and then slow down, relax and enjoy my family when everyone else is running around trying to find the perfect gift.

I already have most of the familys presents already, the only ones left I have to buy for are my husband and daughter, everyone else is already taken care of. I usually wait till the last minute, but this year I said I was going to buy early and I did finally.

I already have a list and have bought a few bits i've seen on sale and have a few more things on order.
There is method in my madness however! I'll be on holiday at the end of November/beginning of December and I HATE shopping with the crowds so I'm aiming to have it done by then!

Christmas shopping begins a week before Christmas. That way I really get into the Christmas spirit. If I do it from now there is no excitment and expectations.
