I know that I have heard some of the reasons for why people believe that if there is a God, why is there so much pain in this world?? I have my own answer for this question, but I want to hear the opinions of regular people instead of the opinions of scholars. Please don't give any rude answers, I just want answers that you truly mean.

It's not "sitting on the fence."

Do I know whether or not aliens exist? No...but a lack of evidence does not constitute as proof. I simply do not know. Now if I wanted to believe in aliens that still wouldn't reflect the truth because my own personal desires are getting in the way. As an agnostic, I won't believe in something without knowing. If you think that's ignorance then so be it. At least I don't believe in something without proof...otherwise that would be quite self-gratifying.

How does a lack of evidence prove that a higher conscious does not exist? How does faith prove God exist? No answers.

I'm curious - what "evidence" would you need to see to believe that God and his son Jesus is really real? This is a sincere question, I want to know if you're just looking for physical evidence, some kind of miracle before you will believe? Please take this question seriously, and really think about it. I mean, if you saw a vision of God telling you that it would rain blood, and the next day it did - would you believe then? Or would it take a visit from a real-live angel? Are you waiting for "proof"? Or do you feel indifferent about eternity, the afterlife, all that stuff?

I was listenig to a radio program today and the dj was talking about his raking of leaves now that fall is starting and he mentioned 4 times how he has his illegals do his work so he can then jump with his dog into the piles of raked leaves these people have worked hard to clean up his yard is this a joke to him or what? I personally did not find the humor. Are all Americans going to behave this way from now on in society.
