It's not PC to 'diss' on immigrants. But *illegal* ones are fair game because they have *illegal* built right into their title. Sorry that Mexico sucks. Not America's problem.

Actually sweetie, it isn't Politically Correct to Dis on Immigrants.
Fact is its against the Law to Discriminate by race in the United States.
Wanna know something funny?
Everyone's ancestor was an immigrant to this country at some time in the history of the United States. Where did your great grand parents come from?
Yes, the only Real True Americans of North America is The American Indian.
So if you want to dis someone, try dissing the people who take cheap shots at other immigrants.
Because these people have forgotten that they are decendants of immigrants too.
cheers baby!!!
Did you know where the founding fathers of this country were from? THEY were immigrants/refugees from England & Europe.
So think of that when you or your friends ever get tempted to diss on someone just because they look different or sound different.

I can see how this might be offensive but then again, if he was telling the truth he was really doing them a favor by giving them work. Even if it was useless work, he was paying them money they really needed. However, the fact that they were illegal makes them fair game for all jokes and immigration. These people should not be in America. They are breaking the law. If they just went and did it the legal way then nobody would be making fun.

I really hate the fact that people do this and the fact that people stereotype so much. It seems like it is almost acceptable. I personally feel that each individual was created equal and should be treated that way. The amount of money you make nor the soil you were born on (American or not) should have anything to do with how you are treated. The fact that you are part of the human race makes you and equal. Your skin color, nationality, hair texture doesn't define who you are...you are the soul that lives within!

First the concept of "political correctness" is nothing more than the "double speak" they used to use in 1980's and 1990's, it means nothing and makes no sense whatsoever, used only to mislead and never give a real answer. Second, it is NEVER right to poke fun at anyone for any reason that involves politics. People need to remember what is written on The Statue Of Liberty.
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

They are criminals and don't deserve respect.
You should worry more that it seems hip, at least on YA, to bash Christians and gays.
