If whatsoever is not of faith is sin: Rom 14:23, and the law is not of faith: Gal 3:12; then it reasons "verily verily" John is allegorically saying a law(sin) unto death & a law(sin) not unto death... in which things are an "allegory" in both "covenants": Gal 4:24. For where no law, there no transgression: Rom 4:15 & when no law, then no sin imputed: Rom 5:13.
1st John of 3 Johns says all unrighteousness is sin. So it reasons all law is sin... in such a "mystery". Law, source of sin, is also the strength of sin's death sting: 1Cor 15:56, and the ministration of death: 2Cor 3:7; and the wages of (law imputed)sin is death: Rom 6:23. Breach 1 law = die.
Some (the some-what, I know not what) say confessed sin is a sin not unto death; But Bible says confessed sin makes sinners all, none righteous, no, not one. We all are one. We are delivered from the law, thereby saved from the death sting of such cancer us law can and will kill you all if it's not all removed in time.
