Why is there so much pressure on women/men these days to lose their virginity by the time they are in their late teens, many programmes seem to always make out that most young people are sleeping around many as young as 12/13, i'm no nun yet people have to make out I must be one or a lesbian if they find out, anyone else similar to me?

Church is just like any other business. The people with money get what they want, the new people are viewed as outsiders, there's as much politics as in the capital building, I don't like it, it seems quite unchristian.

you aren't? How is this different. I wanna know. Because I don't think it is against the law for people who aren't black to watch this channel, or for black people to watch CMT. People tend to laugh at cultists and cults because they are so brainwashed. What is the actual difference between that and other religions?

I'm not looking to inflame anyone.
Religious fanatics in both camps seem to do a lot of crazy things for a belief system (like denial of bacon, or praying 5 times a day or mass suicides).
I worry that doing things other than for the survival of you and your species may be inflicting more damage than it is solving.
If there is an adaptative reason for a belief system I want to know it.

Does God have a warehouse full of souls in heaven that he places in the bodies of babies and if so were do the souls of rapist murderers and psycopaths come from? Is this Gods work as well or does the devil have a hand in soul placement as well? I am a believer and would like to know. You might say we are born innocent but from everything i have seen some people are just born evil and there is nothing to be done about it.

She never had children. She is always complaining that she has to pay property taxes for schools and never buys anything when she does look at the books. However, I have shown it to the two other girls in the office and I don't want to hurt her feelings if I don't show it to her. What do you guys think? Would you show it to her or not?

I see it happening more often than not and to someone confused about religion, frankly, many religious people come off looking like hippocrits. I see catholics taking birth control, baptists drinking, all kinds of religious people thinking that they are God and condemning people to hell for their actions (Isn't that God's job and isn't there some verse about NOT judging), and just being nasty people, but somehow thinking they're above everyone else. I want to believe in something but not besides these people. HELP?!?
