Jesus was and is an amazing being. Yet no one, that I am aware of, has embraced his teachings. So many of us have become the hypocrites he spoke of.
"...ye are like unto white sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness." (Matthew 23:27)

I contacted the ACLU on Monday for help. You see, they are forcing my Daughter to learn about evolution in 8th grade earth science class. This strictly goes against hers and most of the other students personal beliefs. The ACLU informed me quite firmly that they could only help me if they also made her learn about Creation. Why are they so hypocritical?

The end of a weeklong bridal fair/exhibit held in a local hotel had come. The exhibitors (I was one of them) were told by the hotel management to pack up at 8 that night. Early that day I left my car in the repair shop and won't be able to drive it for 2 weeks. During the dismantling of the props, I asked a fellow designer if I could leave my wedding gown and dressform in his shop (because his shop was just across the hotel) for the meantime as I was going to be without a car for 2 weeks. He voluntarily agreed after I told him I'll get them back when the car's fixed.
The next week, my local designer club held a meeting to evaluate our participation in the recently-held exhibit. My colleagues in the business all chorused that I had the most hideous-looking dressform as it was made of papier mache.
One week later, I drove to this designer's shop to get my things back. I was shocked to hear that he had thrown away my papier mache dressform! His reason: "Everybody said it was ugly.".....

In answer to a question about Sherlock Holmes, someone answered that he was real, because there was a plaque on a house in London where he lived. He was fictional, of course, but Arthur Canon Doyle's use of real places and persons in his stories have convinced many that his characters are real.
Could this be the case with Jesus? Does the fact that the scripters contain references to real persons, places and historical events prove that Jesus did in fact exist?

Do you think if enough of us asked, that Yahoo Answers would put a place on here just for us. Just for us to share the word of God,so that way all the others would not be (bothered) by our questions. I mean the other so called Religons. So we won't be offending them, what do you think?????

The Scriptures relate that Almighty God particularly blessed this young woman by choosing her to be the mother of Jesus. Jesus’ birth was unique in that Mary was a virgin when she conceived him. Certain churches of Christendom have long reserved a special veneration for Mary. In 431 C.E., the Council of Ephesus proclaimed her “Mother of God,” and today many people are taught to pray to her.

The Gospel account of Luke records that one of Jesus’ disciples requested of him: “Lord, teach us how to pray.” In response, Jesus began: “Whenever you pray, say, ‘Father, let your name be sanctified.’” During his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus likewise instructed his followers to pray: “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.”—Luke 11:1, 2; Matthew 6:9.

The first thing we learn, then, is that prayer, or worshipful address, should be directed to Jesus’ Father, who is Jehovah. Nowhere does the Bible authorize us to pray to anyone else.

Why is it African Americans get BET, United ***** College Fund, NAACP, but if caucasians were to start a WET, United Caucasian College Fund, or NAAWP...You would never hear the endless cries of RACISM!!!! RACISM!!!!

Does that strike anyone else as a double standard. (and don't use the "slavery" thing...pretty much everyone was a slave at one time..whether to britian, egypt, or farmers).

Every time someone tells you that you are going to hell, or spouts off some nonsense like that we should report them for inciting violence/hatred right?

I won't deny that the question did in fact do those things, but it was a joke, which I should have known people can't take. However, people that call non-believers stupid, morons, idiots, or tell them "You are going to burn in a fiery hell for eternity!!" it seems are inciting hatred.
