Do you think if enough of us asked, that Yahoo Answers would put a place on here just for us. Just for us to share the word of God,so that way all the others would not be (bothered) by our questions. I mean the other so called Religons. So we won't be offending them, what do you think?????

I don't mind how it is now. It gives the opportunity for seeds to be planted. You just need to take comments of non-believers with a grain of salt. If they are offended, then they are thinking. Who knows, if someone questions a Christian and picks up the Word, a soul may be saved. We don't need to be separated.

Do you not see that this once again speaks to the "exclusivity" of Christianity? I find this question and the majority of responses given to be extremely sad. Spirituality is something that is supposed to bring us humans together. Not only that, but if your religion cannot withstand the muster of questions by non-believers, what does that say about your religion?

I think this forum is the "best" place for us all. It allows everyone to see everyone's point of view. The idea is to educate and help each of us understand different religious and spiritual view points. You ask a question and you get answers. This is great so to quote an old homely, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it."

This is just what I've been talking about. You Christians exclude those that don't believe as you do. How do you expect to win the hearts minds and souls to Christ if they don't see you, hear you or feel that they are important. Others especially those non-believers should be the ones that you are talking to. They are the ones that you should be explaining the word to not merely talking amongst yourselves for self edification. It is a good thing that Christ didn't just talk to those who believed as He did or you wouldn't have a religion today.

Yes, I think different forums for the various religions would be prudent. I have seen several Chrisitian and Muslim questioners who were viciously attacked by non-believers for asking a perfectly valid question; this should not be permitted and there should be a safe place where their beliefs are not attacked.

HOWEVER -- I also think there should be a forum for the format we see here. I think atheists and agnostics should be permitted to question our beliefs. If we cannot defend our own faith, we have not proven ourselves to be salt and light on the earth.

Peace.

I Think this is an avenue for unbelievers to learn from our experiences with Christ. So what if they're offended. Jesus offended many people in his ministry. Hopefully they will be offended enough to think about what they are missing. Which might plant a seed for them to turn to him and repent.

Yahoo answers is NOT a platform for converting souls or hawking goods. You Christians need to realize this. Quit taking advantage of free web space just to push your agendas. Honestly, can't you just mingle with the rest of us and put the salesmanship aside for just a little while???

P.S. I personally DO NOT get offended by Christian beliefs--although I am not Christian. What offends me is that Christians are always trying to PUSH their beliefs on others every chance they get!

I think you just said something just as offensive as anything I've read here about Christians. "so-called religions"?! Shame on you!! You can't be a very spiritual if you make statements like this. Where is your tolerance? Where is your patience? Don't you think maybe people wonder about our religion as much as we wonder about theirs? I was very offended by your question and I wish people like you would quit telling people you are Christian because you give us all a bad name. In my life, I try to regard everyone as my brother or sister because that's what God told us to do. He didn't say "go find the Christians and love only them" The commandment is Love thy neighbour as yourself.

Yahoo already provides the service you want in Yahoo Groups. A Group can be structured so that you could ban all non-Christians (and use your definition of non-Christian as well).

Just go to Yahoo Groups and type "Christian" in the search bar. You'll find a ton of Christian Yahoo Groups for whatever your Christian heart of gold needs.

There are plenty of Christian forums online. Go to one of those. We "uncleansed" beasts will stay out of there, but as far as Yahoo! Answers goes, it's a free site for anybody to use. To add a subsection just for you Christians would be discriminatory unless they provided individual subsections for other religions, and to do that would be very costly to Yahoo! in terms of bandwidth, data flow, and of course finance.

I think Christians that know they speak the truth shouldn't be bothered by anyones remarks.
They should feel that what they are saying is truth and could back it up with the BIBLE - not just what others say.
Use the scriptures for a change and you won't have to worry about anyone trying to disprove you.
