and I enjoy very much being a bisexual male.

I committed no sin in my eyes. But to many I have committed sin. Why because I've had sexual relations with the same sex????

My view of God doesn't have a problem with that. Why should the deeply religious???? You are not God.

Say what you will, I hold no judgement to you, although many may hold attempt to hold judgement on me

I wonder if peple that fight wars do it thinking that God wants this ? I cannot believe that a loving God would want to have people kill each other in his name ? Please tell me what you think about this. I am against war and have always been. I feel that wars has never solved anything. If God is Love as I read ... should that not mean that he is Against killing and hate . We are all equal in Gods eyes. Why Why Why ? This is my day for asking questions...

Sorry, but I am getting really fed up with the questions coming from you religious people on here, or, to be fair, from a number of you.

First, let me state a few FACTS:

1) I am an atheist
2) I do not want you to convert me
3) I am not stupid
4) I have an education

Now, I would explain all those, but as of now, I am down to 600 chars left, so...

My question is, why do you guys have to write so many questions on here that are meant to do absolutely nothing but put down, belittle, or otherwise offend those of us who do not agree with you? Is it not your duty, as a good christian, or whatever else you might be, to treat everyone with respect and kindness? Love thy neighbor and all of that? Yet, every day I see questions like, "Do atheists understand the difference between fact/hypothosis..etc", as if we're stupid people...
Why can't you just believe what you want and let us do the same without you telling us how wrong we are all the time?

Give it a rest.

It's long, so check the added detail right below for the second part....

"Many orthodox people speak as though it were the business of sceptics to disprove received dogmas rather than of dogmatists to prove them. This is, of course, a mistake. If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes...........

When I was a christian, years ago now, I did! I was happy to be hated, persecuted and tormented - because it proved to me the bible was right, when it said this would be the case. The more the merrier, I felt, as it merited a better afterlife for me, proportionate to my suffering on Earth!

Are you not able to believe and ACCEPT the words of your bible, nowadays? Why do you (as a collective of course, meaning not as individuals, as we are all different) whine, moan and begrudge what you KNOW to be "the way of your Lord"?

Do you understand that you cannot fool God? Stop going to church every Sunday. Do not waste your time Earth since this may very well be the only time you have. You attend services on Sunday yet fornicate on Monday. You do not help your fellow man. You steal and commit adultery yet you proclaim your righteousness. The law of God is the law of God. You cannot trick God. We do not have to be sinners. To stop sinning is as simple as not doing it. The only things one must do are those things, which are out of their control. Functions like breathing are involuntary. There is no physiological imperative that demands a man or woman have intercourse with a married person or with an animal. You will not die if you do not sleep with that man’s wife. Stop the excuses. From this day forward sin no more. And if you are going to sin at least do it proudly, there is nothing worse than a man who tries to fool God.

He stares so hard, for so long, that I've seen girls become uncomfortable and their companions shield them or move away. It's quite obvious--he whips his head around and even adjusts his body in the chair to get a better view.

He seems totally unaware that what he's doing looks terrible and completely inappropriate, and he doesn't seem to understand that he may have been excluded from family events, for example, because of his oddball behavior whenever he is able to view any woman in the near vicinity.

What do you think could convince him that what he thinks is innocent behavior makes him look like a perverted freak?

I feel it is important to have good self esteem but at the same time it seems that so many people go overboard and really think a lot of themselves. I personally would rather be around someone with low esteem than someone who is overly sure of themselves. I am turned off by a person who describes themself as very attractive or in very good shape. While that might be true, I think they should leave that opinion to others. It makes me feel inferior to them because they think they are so hot. I have often found these people to be exagerating too.
