Where is the tree of life?

I live near a construction site and they're always wondering off. Sometimes I'll find them asleep on my lawn. Sometimes I'll find them just standing out there, an inch from my wall, staring at the siding. It's kinda weird. Usually I just spray them with the hose... is there a better way?

I am not really that religious...more spiritual. However, I still had a religious upbringing. David Blaine is seemingly WAY more then just a magician AND he is pretty likeable. Do you think his illusions/tricks are more then just magic? If so and he is in touch with some sort of supernatural power...doesn't it seem possible he could be the devil or a devil of sorts? He is exactly how the bible said the devil would appear. Appealing to the masses...

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.

Romans 1:24-26 (New International Version)

This seems to suggest to me that the author believes his God does not like Lesbians.

Since its a mythology, it doesn't matter to me, I'm an agnostic, I was just curious, why do you think people need to write in a religious book that their God doesn't like Lesbians?

Must you really spew fire and brimstone threats at people because they don't agree with you?

As an agnostic, I've never threatened a christian.
So why do christians feel the need to threaten me with their mythology?

(and why do they think it'll even work? They might as well threaten me with the boogeyman)

and don't tell me that you're all trying to warn me and "save my soul" or I'll have to share some of the "christian hate mail" that I've received recently. Angry, hateful sh1t.

My brother converted a few years ago. He later married a woman from Morrocco. She is Muslim. Since I have made some bad choices in picking partners, my sister-in-law wants to play cupid by matching me up with a cousin or brother of hers. She wants me to think about it in depth since it would be a major life style change. Except for things I see on tv, I really don't know much about the Muslim way of life in America. Or their views on marriage. So, am I reducing myself to mere desperation by even thinking of such a thing? Or is this a valid option for those of us who want to be married but can't seem to find a good life partner in our own backyard? Look, some men go to great lengths to obtain a Russian or Asian bride. So what difference would this make? Don't worry...I haven't seriously considered this as an option, per se. I am merely wanting everyone's opinion. So, please humor me and give me some good advice or opinions. But don't be mean or critical about it. Thanks!

Seriously, is it something in the water over there? Seems like most British women average at least a D-size cup. If you don't know what i'm talkin about just Google Lorna Morgan, Susie Wilden, Linzie Dawn McKinzie, Chaz, Adele Stephens, Jessica Turner or Julia Miles. And it's not just exotic models but everyday girls walking down the street bouncin their jumblies around. Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Why do people come into a store 5 minutes before it is closing when they know what they came in for will take longer? This is annoying to those of us who work in retail and would like to get home at decent time. After the store closes, we have to close registers, clean up, etc, which takes about an hour. When we have customers coming in at the last minute not knowing what they want and asking a hundred questions, it gets annoying. Sure you can say it is our job, but the customer is not always right, if they were, most stores would be out of business from the shoplifting some "customers" do. This happens on the weekend as much as weeknights and people have the whole day to do stuff so why wait till the last minute? People should only come in at thelast minute if they want to make a quick purchase, not to order a room of furniture, a computer system, or other services that take time to process.

Disclaimer: I'm an agnostic I'm not a Christian.

There must be something wrong with my Bible I'm reading. In the New International Version in Leviticus 18:22 it says the following:

" 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

This was the NIV that was translated between 1965 and 1973.

Now in the King James Version, from 1611, the same verse Leviticus 18:22

22Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

According to http://www.m-w.com/ the words are defined as follows:

Detestable: arousing or meriting intense dislike

Abomination: extreme disgust and hatred

So, I'm confused, does the Judeo-Christian God hate homosexuals as it was translated in 1611, or does he just dislike them, as it is translated in the NIV copyright 1973.

Did the followers of God change their mind about their mythology?

Why the difference?

and yet continue doing the same things that created the stereotype in the first place..i.e. young black men are violent, spanish girls are crazy, indian people smell like B.O....etc... I am not a racist at all, but in my experiences almost all of the main stereotypes, especially about race, have pretty much proven themselves to be true. What are your thoughts about it? Do you see the same things, or is that what they just are to you, stereotypes? I know ignorance plays a huge part in stereotypes, but what else is there?

I have a few questions for you. Who is your prophet? Did the Jehovah's Witnesses predict that the Battle of Armageddon would be fought in 1914, followed by the end of the world? Did, in 1954, J.W. president Frederick Franz become exposed as a fraud as the most learned Hebrew scholar? Under oath in a court of law, he proved incapable of handling even the most basic Hebrew. Is Jesus God? Did Jesus' death accomplish everything needed to save us? Why is the NWT not recognized by Greek and Hebrew scholars? Is salvation received by faith? (Titus 3:5), Eph. 2:8-9. ) Is Christ God? (John 5:18, and John 20:28) Is the Holy Spirit God? (Acts 5:3) Do you recognize the KJV or the 1901 American Standard Bible?

I have found that there are a multitude of people that are told about Christianity and its views on certain subjects and get offended by the concept that natural actions have spiritual consiquences. Example: The concept of hell and who goes. Touchy subject I know, but people feel as if that subject can not be spoken on by a human being. Why? I am not playing God, just saying what he has said. Is it that maybe wholeness, and purity (God) can not be recognized in partial goodness and a semi-self control (people) and thats scary? I know it used to be for me. Please answer honestly and not with scarcasm and discontent for the question posed.
