I am not really that religious...more spiritual. However, I still had a religious upbringing. David Blaine is seemingly WAY more then just a magician AND he is pretty likeable. Do you think his illusions/tricks are more then just magic? If so and he is in touch with some sort of supernatural power...doesn't it seem possible he could be the devil or a devil of sorts? He is exactly how the bible said the devil would appear. Appealing to the masses...

If you are "spiritual more than religious", what are you doing clinging to the religious concept of "the Devil"??!?
Blaine is a showman and a conjuror. He is a teacher doing IMO mildly more good than harm.
To a spiritual person, the whole material world is Illusion. David Blaine is helping people realize this. Everything "concrete" is only an appearance to our eyes and minds.

He doesn't have any supernatural powers - he's just an illusionist. Do a Google search for something like "David Blaine hoax" or "David Blaine revealed" and you can learn how he does most of his tricks.

david blaine is definately not the devil but he also definately is possesd with evil spirits.

Of course he isn't - he's just a not very good magician who seems to think that there's something admirable about torturing himself in public.
He tried it in the UK and we laughed at him.

I heard he is really a proctologist. Some of the answers here indicate to me that some of the answerers need to see similar specialists.
