The true believers of Christ, if they were to be any religion at all, should be Jews who accept Christ.

Christians are followers of Christ. They are those that obey His teachings and do the things He did. Yes, they know He is the Jewish Messiah or Christ. Jews who believe Jesus was the Messiah are Messianic Jews.

Not technically. The "-ian" is a suffix that denotes "a person of". A Phillipian mean "A person of the city of Phillipi". Hence, a Christian means "A person of the belief of Christ".

Technically, we are of the Jewish faith, but have been freed from 99% of the Mosaic Laws (the forbidding of consuming blood still stands), and placed under Christ's two commandments, which, in essence, is a condensed version of the Ten Commandments.

The Jews are our elder brethren, as we are both descendants of Abraham (the Jews through bloodline, the Christians through adoption), but since we follow the Christ, and not the Jewish traditions, we are Christians, not Jews.

Jesus was a teacher. Those who followed his teachings came to be known as Christians. Many of His followers were Jews (he was a Jew too). There was a division among the Jews. Some chose not to follow Christ (not believing he was the Son of God). Those people are the ancestors of today's Jews.

Dear, the bible in the book of Acts calls followers of Jesus Christians. Jesus was the Christ, He was not a follower of Himself. Gentiles will never be Jews.

The Bible says that NO ONE comes to the Father except THROUGH Christ...Not just a particualr race, or culture..

Jesus is THE Christ.. Christ is a Title. It means :Annointed One. SO how could he be a Christian? Christian literally means : A follower of the Christ

READ A BIBLE

Christ = God
Because they are of the same spirit.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Acts 10:36
You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Romans 2:16
This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Christian means little Christ. Gentiles, and Jews, became Christians because it was meant as an insult but they liked it so much they kept the title.

Semantics!

NOPE!

We who were not born of Jewish parents must remember that Our Messiah
and The Messiah of the Jews are one!

We were "grafted in" ~ and for this we must thank OUR LORD AND OUR MESSIAH ~

This goes against the definition of religion. You can't just make them backwards. Jesus was the decendant of Jews. That does not mean that Christians can't recognize him as their savior. Arnold Schwarzenneger is not from America but he's still the governor of California....
