I was raised Catholic - I left Catholicism because I believe it is false.

I was not abused, however I have known people who were abused by a priest. I am deeply saddened that the Catholic church has refused to address the issue and tries to bury it when it it is exposed.

The Church cares more about it's money and image than they do about their congregation.

Yes, just not at that Church.
Things like that test faith and I don't have a reason. I'm deeply saddened for the ones that this has happened to.
If you have the faith never waiver from it!
Humans can be the sickest and most vile. We have to deal with alot and forgiveness for something like molestation doesn't seem like an option. It's that person not your faith.
Luck be with you...

would you still go to school if your brother/sister were molested by a teacher?

This has got to be one of the dumbest questions I have ever seen (and I have seen some dumb ones).

Simply because one priest molests a child doesn't mean that all of them do.

But to answer this stupid question, yes, I would.

Yes.

Would you still be a human being if your brother or sister was molested by another human being?
