Before you call this question stupid check the date of the flood and the years of Methuselah. It's in same year, the chance of escape is thin since the flood started at the begining of the year.

If your house got levelled in a flood, it is God's fault is what the insurance people say; you would be homesless, penniless, and the insurance lot are legally allowed to blame God...

How does this fit into your Religious Beliefs?
Do Christians not bother with Insurance?
Can you get insurance companies to rewrite them if you are atheistic?

I think we have the right to know

"They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things (i.e., "the creation") rather than the Creator, who is forever praised. Amen."--Romans 1:25 (N.I.V.)
"Always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth."--2 Timothy 3:7, (N.I.V.) Crucial to the scientific method is an open mind. Closed minds lead to closed hearts, which condition in turn invites spiritual pride. Individuals who are predisposed to this condition usually end up constructing for themselves a god of their own intellect and reason. In effect, they construct a god of their own likeness or image.
"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profance and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called."--1 Timothy 6:20 (K.J.V.)

If God had not made a blood sacrifice of Jesus to die for your sins, would you be willing to sacrifice your own child to die for our sins? Just curious. Why or why not?

When I see people who try to quit smoking they always seem to have some substitute that takes the place of the cigarettes. Some chew gum, others eat more, etc. But if they are substituting for the cigarettes have they really kicked the habit? I mean have they really beat their addiction?

For a long time now i believed that i had been seeing ghosts at night time at my boyfriends house and often woke up jumping to the end of the bed to avoid what i believed to be a spirit, no one else could see the same so i put it to the back of my head, anyway in March i visited a Clairvoyant and the 1st thing she asks me is 'can i see dead people' she could sense that i could, anway we did an exercise where i asked fr the spirits to leave my boyfriends house and i havnt seen them since. Leading on to my present times (and im sorry that this question is draggng on) On Saturday evening i was reading the paper and i suddenly got a thought that someone famous was soon going to die, and then tragic news hit that steve irwin had died - i was gobsmacked, i actullay thought the death may be of a pop star but it was still someone famous. my boyfriend couldnt believe that this had happened after i had said it to him 2 days previously.

Has anyone read the book "The Hiram Key" by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas? It is amazing what they claim to have discovered. Perhaps too many handy coincidences of their theories linking together but quite an eye-opener all the same. So, if you´ve read it, what do you think....is it worth its salt?
