Also, suppose they were cheating with your parents, but you would be guaranteed $100,000 to deal with it, would you? Just remember you are totally in LOVE with the person.

No I believe that marriage is between 2 people and that doesn't leave room for anyone else. If you accept this then why get married at all. As for the money part, money should not define your decision one way or the other. Marriage is for 2 people who are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives with each other and should not be for any other reason or divorce will soon follow.

Just $100k? That's not enough, maybe for a couple of millions. j/k

Well, it depends how you define love and how you view marriage. If you think marriage is merely a union of two individuals' finances and sex, where true committment is not required, then go ahead & marry a cheater. You won't care whether they love you or not. Thus, it won't matter that other people are sharing your future spouse, both physically & emotionally, w/ you.

Personally, I would not able to do it. I see love & marriage as something sacred.

Also remember that once a cheater, always a cheater.

cheating with my parents? thats a little too weird. if i was totally in love with the person, i would get over it really quick when i found that out. i think i might take the $100,000, but we would only be married on paper. we wouldn't have a real relationship anymore. and i would only stay with them until the money ran out. i wouldn't stay married to them forever.

Well, not to say that this is the right thing to do, but maybe if I could get the money and then be able to leave the relationship at some point or be in a relationship with that person and not have to live with them then maybe so.

Marriage is about commitment and if you love a person and they can't be committed to you, then it's never going to work. Once a cheater, always a cheater. I wouldn't put my heart through that much misery for a lousy sum of money.
