Prehaps try some Norse Gods Thor , Odin, or Loki.

I've accepted Jesus Christ as my personal trainer. Savior, trainer, he works good at neither. he did nothing to make my biceps grow. He gave me some silly biblical carpenters work out and a diet of honey and locust, yuk.

Try selling your soul to the devil. Let me know what you get.

Make you own animal God out of gold Pagan parties are the bomb , good wine great wild monkey sex.

you do not give god chances, god gives you chances. youre so selfish to not appreciate that youre still breathing. god does not cater to our every want and wish. yes sometimes life hurts alot and we have alot of downfalls. we're human and just as we are not perfect, life is not perfect. who do you know that has never or doesnt have any problems whatsoever. god has a purpose for you after the time comes. did you ever think that your faith might have something to do with it? you're ungrateful. this is the devil's world and he'd running rampant and causing alot of pain and worries. but instead of clinging to god through your troubles, you turn on him and you dont understand why he isnt fixing your problems. it reminds me of a poem called footsteps where the guy has a dream where he is overlooking his whole life walking with god. at the times he struggled and things were bad, he noticed that there were only one set of footprints in the sand instead of two. he questioned why god would leave him when he needed him the most and god told him that the one set of footprints he saw were his and that during the times he was struggling, god had carried him.
whether or not you want to believe it, jesus was a part of god sent here to open our eyes and to take all of our sin upon himself so we could be forgiven. so we could be saved from damnation. who else do you know that would die to save you from yourself? i think that you would be alot better off if you would hold tighter to god and get closer instead of pushing him away. he sees the wrong that you do and he forgives you no matter how far you go astray. its satan you should be mad at. until the day you die, you are a child of god and you will never be too grown to not need him anymore.

What do you mean by 'give God a chance?' That could mean everything from going to church, to prayer, to worshipping a
spaghetti monster (Jim Darwin), to whatever.

You are 18, and have already 'tried God', and found Him wanting,
'eh?

Man, is that just a little bit egotistical on your part?

Me thinks you have no clue who God is, and what your relationship to Him should be. It is not a matter of you giving HIM
a chance, but rather whether He decides to give YOU a chance.
The only chance you have to know God personally is found in the
man called Jesus Christ, and He is God Almighty who came down to us (humans) in the guise of our flesh, lived a perfect life,
died a perfect death, and rose again perfectly from the grave after shedding His precious blood on the cross for wicked sinners like you and I. Apart from receiving Him as Saviour, your
future lies in a lake of fire, where you will burn forever and ever in
torment for your sin(s).
As they say in the hokey pokey, "that's what it's all about!"

He created you. He gives you breath each day to live. Have you really given Him your all. If not why not. We go through trails and tribulations to be drawn closer to Him. when we go through things then we can help others out. We are all born into sin, but you have to given Him your heart. Take time to Read the book of John. This world is getting worse every day you need to give Him all the chances you can. Good Luck and God bless.

Have you ever heard of PUSH? Pray Until Something Happens!

And if something happens that is different from what you asked for, there is a reason - which may not reveal itself until later down your road of life. You don't always get exactly what you ask for because sometimes there is something else you need to learn. God knows what is best.

For example: say a 12 year old boy asks for a BB gun for his birthday - and if he gets it, he will shoot a friend's eye out while angry & get put in Juvenile Hall where he befriends rougher kids & goes on to pair with them in a life of crime, getting shot & killed in an attempted burglary at 22 years old.
But instead, his parents give him a microscope. Disappointed at first, he soon finds it fascinating & gets very interested in science. He goes to college on a scholarship. He goes on to find a cure for a devastating virus that saves milions.
Sometimes that is how God works.

Keep "giving him chances" as you say. God is faithful and if you've been giving him chances you should know that he'll never fail. I think christians forget that god has his own agendas for our lives and he doesnt work for us when we want him to. Be patient and remeber he'll do the work when he knows its best for you. For if we knew what was best for ourselves we wouldnt be in half the situations we get in and then ask god for help. Keep the faith

Not sure what you mean by a "chance"...but if your expecting him to change something in you life, you have to do it. God can and will give us guidance, but because he gave us free will, we make the ultimate decision's that end up helping or hurting ourselves.

Your faith or lack their of is your choice, free will you know. I've been a Christian for 18 years and have learned a lot about the nature, patience, love of God. I have had hard times, no one is exempt from that, but through them I have seen God's faithfulness

Just keep your eye on the prize. He knows the intentions of all the hearts of men. Maybe you should pray this for others that may have this same problem instead of thinking about yourself. It might even help you to service others for His glory. God bless.
