The link people see between the book of Revelation and the current events in the Middle East are not limited to the book of Revelation. There are end-time prophecies located throughout the Old Testament that have come to pass, and prophesies that are coming to pass before our eyes, and then also things that are going to come to pass. There is also prophetic information located in several of the New Testament epistles, and the teachings of Jesus in the gospels. All of this information is in agreement, even though it was written at different times by different authors, several thousand years ago.

The biggest fulfillment of prophecy that has taken place in recent times is the return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. This was prophesied by Isaiah, by Ezekiel, by Zechariah, and others (I don't remember where all these are located without taking a few minutes to look). Anyhow, this was prophesied hundreds of years before Christ, and it has been fulfilled within the lifetimes of many people that are alive right now. How is that significant? It is the first major step toward the fulfillment of all other end-time prophesies in the Bible. It is a precursor to Armageddon.

Have you thought about how amazing it is for a race of people that has been around for 4000 years to suddenly flock by the millions to a homeland that their ancestors have not lived in for 2000 years? They have been scattered throughout the nations of the world for 2000 years, and suddenly they are returning to Israel. Just as Jesus Christ perfectly fulfilled the prophesies concerning His first coming, so also the prophesies concerning His second coming will be perfectly fulfilled. These events are just leading up to that great event, the consumation of all things.

The Muslims resist Israel being in the land because it is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy which leads to the return of Christ. They are the embodiment of the spirit of antichrist, and they resist His people and His return. This is not on a cognitive level, this is entirely spiritual.

For one reason muslims believe that God mean Allah which in arabic terms it does but they believe that Jesus is not the son of God and that he did not die on the cross for our sin and they believe that he was a prophet. The muslims are fighting over the Holy land and so are the judists So in the Book of Relevlation it stated that nation will rise up againstr nation to fight over the holy land

think of it this way....2000 years since Jesus walked the earth, and the records weren't straight then...for the last 2,000 years the earth has been playing the "telephone game". a few facts get messed up.
But remember also, the main point stays the same. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. all you have to do is believe, and tell god you believe.
BUT DON"T WORRY...when a lot of countries attack isreal and fall dead, that means its starting.

The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ does not command our actions. It is a book that shows us what will come.
