and suddenly look around you, and start asking yourself... "Why am I here? Where is this place? What am I doing here?"

Sometimes when it happens to me, it makes me feel that what's around me, is not real. It take about a minute for me to get back. Does anyone knows what's this phenomenem called? Have you had that experience?

The question is not simply do you remember a kid that is missing but do you remember specifics? Say what they are. Race, gender, location. Remember the kid must still be missing.

through out my life people have never been too fond of me. i've struggled making friends. i've always felt different from everyone else, and i just don't seem to be able to connect with other people. i recently went away to school and i tried really hard to fit in with the people but it just seems like i'm going to be dealing with the same problems. i also have trouble with girls, they're never that interested in me either. i've been with girls before but they just end up dumping me. i'd really like it if someone could give me advice, or know of anyone like me. i'm not "out there" at all. i dress and look like your everyday 20 year old. i'm totally hygenic, i'm never dirty, and i'm not ugly by any means. i just don't understand. please help, i want to be normal and be able to have a good time annd memorable college experience just like everyone else. i need this.

A few minutes ago I asked if homophobia was a sin. A majority of the responses indicate it is.

What would be reasonable for a person to do to address this sin? When a person steals, they should return or pay for the item taken, but what amends are reasonable in this circumstance?

I've seen this more than once and it really pisses me off. I understand the fasination with a huge fire but to bring out the chairs so you can watch the destruction in leisure is demented. Get an eye full and move on you sick idiots, your fascination does not justify your total lack of consideration.

2 Kings 13:20-21, "So Elisha died, and they buried him. ....And as a man was being buried, lo, a maurading band was seen and the man was CAST INTO THE GRAVE OF ELISHA; --AND AS SOON AS THE MAN TOUCHED THE BONES OF ELISHA, HE REVIED, AND STOOD ON HIS FEET."

Many people don't believe that relics, bones, etc of the saints have healing or helpful power. They say it's a Catholic, and Orthodox belief only that was man made, and not biblical.

So explain this verse then. There are other biblical examples too.

How can you believe in a literal, inerrant bible?

Since the bible was create by a democratic process of men voting on various writings...
And it was nearly universal that people think that democratic processes conducted by man are fallible...

Doesn't it logically imply that the bible must be fallible?

what if the book of "Corinthians" was included by mistake?
what if the Gospel According to Bubba, or the First Letter of Maggie to her Sorority, were really the word of god, but got voted out?

Every time I look at the 'all categories' section on Yahoo Answers, at least 2 - 3 of the questions are from the religion section. They always seem to be preaching questions and almost nasty questions like "Do you pray for the poor Jews?" or "Jesus loves you and me. why cant children love Jesus?".

And the answers make me sick. Certain user's will only answer questions in the religion question and bash them for not loving god or something like that. And then lecture about Jesus Christ or whatever other religion there supporting.

Take a look at this user:

Some of these people seem to have no life ... literally. They are obsessed and some seem almost scary when I see there answers or questions.

I know it's good to be religious, but do you think there is a limit? Some of the stuff I have seen is sad

All this summer I was really feeling Christianity. I was becoming a better Christian and everything. Then when school starts I started to go back to the way I used to be. I started cussing, I lusted(on that real serious tip), I even started to believe that there was no God.

I don't get it. Inside of my house I was very religious, like I am right now(im in my house), but when I got into school I started letting my demons get the worst of me.

How can I stop this?

If I say "It is worth $1,000,000", what is 'worth' in that sentence? It has a direct object, so I don't see how it can be an adjective, but it certainly doesn't look like a verb (unless you cheat and say 'to be worth' is a verb). It behaves like a preposition, but it certainly doesn't seem very 'prepositiony'. So what is it, then?

(I know it can be a noun - that's not the problem)
