Nothing much at all. That's why I moved away from there.

Hooray for Brunette92!
Yes, London is big and beautiful, the architecture is stunning and people come from all over the world to walk it's streets. It's full of vibrancy from the markets in Covent Garden to the lights of China Town. You never have to go far for anything and culture is bursting from the scenes, whether it be the Galleries or Museums. It's famous landmarks (Lions, Nelson's Column, Bucking Palace, Marble Arch...), it's famous people, (Royal Family, Kate Moss, Robbie, Gallaghers many many more...) it's normal people (I've travelled a bit now and have definitely decided that people in London are incredibly polite compared to people in most other big cities) and it's pure wonderfulness makes me want to put on my pyjamas and dance down the the street with Johnny Vaughn singing 'Maybe it's 'Cause I'm a Londoner...'

As a Londoner born and bred I will have to say that there are good and bad parts of London like any major city.....East of town is very diverse with the rich city kids living in the converted wharehouses in Docklands,to the large bangladeshi community in Hackney and Stepney.
West of London is also varied with the central West being the most "posh" with very expensive shops and massivley overpriced housing.....south and north of the Thames are pretty much classed as the "burbs" with middle class famillies with 2.4 kids living further out and clogging up the roads with uneccessary 4x4s......
Overall a great city but be careful with valubles and make sure you know where to eat!!

The fact that it's so spacious and relaxing while still being exciting is awesome for a city! And it's so beautiful with all of the white buildings and columns; love the Victorian style! Oh, and the food is great, contrary to what most people say. The transport is also the most pleasant I've ever been through. All in all, in spite of the drinking, London is packed up with something new to do everyday and is just-plain-FABULOUS!
Hope this answered you-- did I? ; )

Nothing at all! the whole place is a den of iniquity , if you have ever lived there or been anywhere near it you will know what I mean!
It may well be a place for tourists to marvel at , but it is really a a typical city which is inhabited by 'yuppy' type individuals who really believe there is nothing north of the M1 motorway!
How they can afford to live in the area beats me, I think its the people more than the area that gets me down, it used to be an area where the salt of the earth used to congregate, but no longer!
Possibly not what you want to hear? but sorry about that , those are my feelings on the subject!

Brunette92 - you deserve a medal - not only for a sensible answer but for outwitting all the dickheads who gave crass answers, All these people who say things like "northbound M1/Euston station" etc, my word, aren't you all funny.
Sorry about that : BUT, to the Question:
Loads of things to see and do, and I can only suggest that you go on line to get some proper information from official sites. That way, you don't get plonkers answering you as you unfortunately have here. Why they bother, I don't know, and I wouldn't mind betting that most of them have never even been to London!
