And it is in the Bible, but there is no place in the Bible or in the new testiment saying that we are allowed to eat pork.

Are we going by the word of God?

It makes sense, he is middle eastern and was born in northern Israel, how many blonds are born in the middle east?

And besides, all the paintings and sculptures where he appears as blond, were made in the 15th century and past it.

Is there any document as to his looks?

Can anyone who speaks Italian suggest a knickname or phrase in Italian that would be appropriate to describe a tall, muscular middle-aged man who's a little chauvanistic and a self-proclaimed "ladies' man?" I want to say "machisimo" but I believe that's Spanish; any way it's kind of cliche.

Trinity Broadcasting Network, has $341,000,000.00 in cash and investments on hand. According to:
http://www.ministrywatch.com/mw2.1/H_Home.asp .

This nonpartisan ministry watchdog group has placed a warning about donating to this haven for multimillionire televangelists. TBN have begged so much that Jan Crouch, in a widely distrubuted, and very disturbing internet video, asked for GRANDMOTHERS TO SEND TBN THEIR GROCERY MONEY. It's on YouTube.com

With $341,000,000.00 cash and investments...will you be giving to TBN during their next beg-a-thon?

Almost everytime I see an answer on here about why, I see the christains put down, deside for yourself, should I obey GOD or man? Being gay is an abomination, we are of the animal race, all of us are, so why don`t we allow humans and dogs to marry? sure their are people out there that actually have sex with animals, Is that ok? this is their sexual preferance so why not? and would it be ok for these people to also raise kids to think this is acceptable? It is against the law for man to have sex with a lamb, why would we have to have a law against that? as christians we have to stand for what the Bible teaches Is right, and if we take a GOOD look at the shape of the world today, we HAVE some pretty lazy christians, or maybe thier just playing church. anyway, I don`t hate anyone, I hate SIN, even my sins, the flesh is weak, but that don`t make it ok to SIN.

Dr. Hanby was my pastor when I was a teenager, prior to moving on to his current ministry. I was wondering just how many people have heard him speak. If you have heard of him and just don't know much about him, here is his website... www.hanby.org. I was just wondering what other people thought of his ministry.

That maybe the whole bunch of you-or perhaps you could challenge the Muslims to a real Prayer WAR-Rather than have ALL Americans die for your religious beliefs that you are now pruporting to manifest through you majority vote over this FREE country-Why don't we all end the fiasco once and for all with a BIG DAY OF PRAYER FOR-winner takes all-We set a Date-say September the 11th 2006-and all Christians pray that Osama Bin Laden is instructed by Your God to reveal his place of hiding (He would do as Your God told him to do wouldn't he)-and then willingly pray that he turns in all of his men and their arms and ends his persecution of the world-Then We can ALL celebrate the victory in Jesus name and celebrate the end of a world gone mad over RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY-VIOLENCE-HATRED-and rejoice in the Brotherhood of Life and Celebrate OUR Mother Earths continued bounty of blessings upon those of us who have sacrificed the luxuries of materialistic desires as we grant The Christians their DAY AMEN!

Or is that a fundamentally meaningless question?
Does anyone believe in Newtonian physics? Or do we just accept as fact that objects in motion tend to stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force?

Does believing IN something imply more than merely agreeing that it is true? If so, then to compare "believing in" God with "agreeing with" evolution is kind of an apples vs oranges proposition. One is about having faith in a fundamentally unverifiable entity, and the other is about evaluating an overwhelming body of scientific data and deciding, intellectually, whether or not it is valid.

You can evaluate the data on whether or not God exists, just as you can evaluate the claim that species evolve through survival of the fittest. However, to "evaluate God" is nonsensical - a misuse of the English language.

If you can't evaluate a spiritual entity or believe in a scientific claim, then why do people keep trying to compare the two?

Why are customer service people so rude? Why did the hairdresser cutting my hair a few months take a personal call on her cell phone WHILE SHE WAS CUTTING MY HAIR?????? It was not an emergency, I could tell. Why does the teller at the bank yak away with a friend at the counter while processing my transaction? I could go on but you get the idea. Why does someone I supervise spend half the day on personal calls, even putting a customer on hold to take a personal call? Yes I realize customers can be rude, but being a customer service manager myself, I am not rude because I know what it is like.

I was out performing last night (street magician) and this guy comes up to me between shows and we start talking. The guy claimed to be a magician and wanted to start doing magic on the street as a way of witnessing to people. I was polite but pretty much blew him off because he didn’t feed my hat.

You don’t pay the hat.
You don’t get to chit chat.

Anyway, this morning I got to thinking. What we (magicians) do as a form of entertainment is deceive people. Or in my case, I swindle them in fun games of chance (I do give them their money back after they take a pounding in the 3 Shell game). But a magician is out there to deceive folks. That is what we do.

Is this a good way to present a Christian message? What do you think?
