I could help some disable bodied person who needs help with general chores grocery shopping , ,laundry, dusting etc. or I could go to church and feel good about myself as I have done what I should.

help the disabled people..while you are helping them you can be praising God for what hes blessed you with and yet at the same time your doing good because your helping people out,while your doing that your giving God the praise..yes you can do it at church too but think of the other disabled people that needs help

I didn't go today because of my work schedule, but you should realize that one factor a good church does is to inspire you to help other people. In fact, most churches do this.
If not going to church would resolve this issue and allow people the time to help others, it would be a worthy goal. But disbanding churches would not do that. It would simply create more free time. The help is not just on Sunday morning, but throughout the week. So, since this is important to you, are you spending time during Sunday morning helping people by not going to church? I see a lot of people who are not using this time to help others, so I doubt very much that if we abolished churches it would help people.
In fact, I think help would decline as many of those organizations that help others are staffed by many Christians and others who attend regular religious services.

You go to a church that makes you feel good about yourself?
How can that be?
What kind of church do you go to?
Do they pass out the booze at the door?
They are always telling you, you are a sinner. You should do this, you should do that.
No drinking, no dancing, no TV, no music, no smoking No No No and No.
And two more no's to cover what we didn't tell you no about yet.
Put the law on you. Put the regulations on you.
Unless you go to a catholic church.
They have a ritual.

What "one proselyte" sort traditionally do is go to chruch to feel good, of good/better (law/grace). When they get $ick, "we are delivered from the law" say to such who add "law worketh wrath" to "grace is sufficient": we hope they get "better" soon.
