I'm quiet but I usually make 100's on everything I do... that usually gets me noticed... I have my days where I answer all of the questions and the days where I shut up and sit in my desk with a cold look on my face (those are my bad days)... my intelligence makes me big, I guess... what little there is... oh, and you have to be polite! can't forget your please and thank you's... offer your opinion when it's needed... hm... that's all, i guess... I'm Asian so that automatically makes me stand out. Good luck!

I would say it is through academic excellence and motivation in the subject. Study hard, and if you have any questions or need help, be sure to ask the teacher. Also, if you are doing well in the subject, you might stay to discuss more advanced topics with the teacher.

"Stand out" in what way?
"BIG" in what way, and why do you want this?
If you want to stand out from the pack, as a superior student in the eyes of your teachers, learn to read with genuine understanding of what you've read, and learn to write correctly, clearly, and to the point. Think deeply about what it is you are learning, learn how to apply what you learn, and to integrate it with things you have learned in all of your classes and in life outside of class.
If you just want people to notice you, be loud, ignorant, and arrogant, and refuse to shut up. Everyone will notice what a big dumb jerk you are. Why anyone would want this is a mystery to me, though.

you can start talking to other students in the class room or you can just be you n no body else n that might just make you stand out among other students in the class room n be nice to the other students that should work too

To stand out in public school is easy. Show good manners and intelligence and respect for those around you.
To impress others in public school is hard. For that you need to act like a scumbag.
