This is one of the many reasons I don't believe in any religion. I am spiritual and I believe in God, Jesus, and Mother Mary. I do not believe that God punishes us. I believe that religion was based on fear in order to gain control.
I mean really now can you just picture this: A bishop of the Mormon church has done good things all his life, and dies, he goes to the Pearly Gates, and God says Hey bishop, I am
sorry, but you were in the wrong religion. you now have to go the "hell." The same thing happens with a Priest. I don't believe in hell, it is a place for fear based religions to gain more control. I am to analytical for religion.
God Bless

The Bible says all men are born in sin and all men are on their way to hell reagrdless of religion.
God provided the solution by sending His Son Jesus Christ to pay the price for sin so no one need to go to hell, but rather everyone has the option of choosing eternal life by having their sins forgiven.

My dear, don't worry! You won't go to hell when you die, because you are actually living in hell. Infact, in the life you are living, there are both hell and heaven. If you are sad, or when there are things that is hurting you, then you are in hell. Whenever you are happy, enjoying life, then you are in heaven. Live your life and stop bothering what will happen of you after death. When you get a mango to eat, eat it and enjoy its delicious taste. Don't wonder from which tree the mango come from or you might not enjoy it. One thing is for sure, whatever sin (things you have done to hurt people) you did, you will pay for it before you leave, and whatever good thing you do, you will get your reward before going.

Everyone has the right to believe something besides what their parents taught them. When you are a child, it is not your fault for believing what your parents tell you. But, when someone is an adult, they are not a child anymore and they can think for themselves. They are adults.

According to Saint Paul and later theologians, the heathen will be judged on their own merits.
Children under the age of accountability are protected.
Some say this age is twelve or thirteen, some say younger, others say as old as twenty years.

According to Christianity, the only way to God is by kissing his soin's...ring. Otherwise it's the lake of fire. It's not just, merciful, or loving. "God" (ie: the churches and ministers) want obedience and control. That's all. Don't buy into their threats of hell. It's a scare tactic.

Which religion is the true and right one? I don't remember seeing something in the paper or on the internet claiming that there was only one right religion. Just because someone doesn't have the same religioius beliefs as you, doesn't mean that they are wrong. Bigot, much?

I believe in a just and merciful God. A person will not go to hell simply based on their religion.

Everyone is ultimately responsible for what they believe. Good people believe that Jesus Christ is Lord when they hear it after they die. The spiritual world has better perception from the sun of heaven.
