You've been seeing too many movies or have an Italian girlfriend. There are cool Italians, just as there are cool people of other nationalities., but they don't have anything special to offer the world beyond good wine.
Many people fantize about slavery in the dep south and conviently forget that all of the norther states were once salvery, same with Italia. The roman empire(Italians) were the larges slave holding nation in history with 3/4 of the known world under their slave pens. this is very much a part of Italian history. when you see the famous buildings of rome remember they were built with slave labour, death, conquest, and helped to make life miserable for millions.

I dont understand why you say white? It comes from the same qestion, who is an American? Does it mean white? born in the USA? I dont know if they are cool or not but I dont think that nationalities should be pointed out by the color of their skin. It doenst answer your question but its an opinion.

Italians ARE NOT white, Just because they are somewhat lighter skinned than Africans, That does not mean they are white.
You cannot take two full blooded Italians and produce a blond haired blue eyed baby.
