An "acquaintance" asked me to cash a check for him- but said "don't give me the money until the check clears". The bank told me TWICE the check had cleared, so I gave him the $150. (apparently "cleared" doesn't mean the same thing to BANKS and PEOPLE). 7 days later, the check bounced. The man is currently unemployed, the money is spent. I got the check back, the ACCOUNT IS CLOSED. Is there any legal action I can take against the woman who wrote the check IF I CAN FIND HER?? (there's nothing I can do with the bank, I also got 7 definitions of "cleared". PS a check can bounce weeks, even months later)

I'm a muslim " " I'm christian "
6 / 7 year old children are giving the above statement , because they were spoon fed with their parents religous beliefs.
Are these children really Muslims ?
Are these children really christians ?
What do they know about those religons ?
Who to blame ?
Why the US government will not take actions to stop this.?
Why the problem is not sloved before it occure.?
Why we need a stupid religion activities around the Globe which are not worth and a disaster to mankind ?
Why the US government start stopping the harmfull child brainwashing to prevent feature disagrements.
Why the wealty countries do not focus more on poor country education programmes?
Why only me asking this stupid questions again and again ?

I only know a few words and phrases in spanish. I can, however, translate english to spanish with my computer software. I really need to learn spanish with my job. I keep running into spanish speaking people driving a taxi around the New Orleans area. My real dream is to become a yoga teacher.

A few years ago, while I was in the Navy, I was with a few friends in a hotel room they were staying in, and we got a little rowdy. We found a Bible in the drawer under the TV, and in a fit of passion, I tossed it out onto the balcony and doused it in my own urine.

Now I'm not someone who finds any purpose in regret, so I don't regret doing what I did. But I'm left wondering... does soaking every page in the Holy Bible with my own bodily fluids guarantee me a one-way ticket to Beulzabub?

I am English and no I can not speak English perfectly and very few people can, Americans certanly can't so many people claim to speak good English but can't. Im English and I will admit it. I reacon that less than 5 % of English people can speak perfect English.

It seems every time I see an idiot bashing homosexuals or their lifestyle the common response from the gay community is that he is homosexual himself and overcompensating.

Do you really believe that is true? I tend to just think that they are just untolerant, uneducated, or downright hateful.
In my limited experience, people who feel they might have gay thoughts usually become very quiet when the topic comes up. The opposite of being outspoken and mean.

It just doesnt make any sense to me, if a mother speaks out against violent video games, no one accuses her of secretly wanting to play them.


And for the record - I am not a homophobe, I dont want any anti-gay answers, and I am not here to argue. I am open minded about this, just confused.

I woke up to walk my dog and there were two doves sitting on my car very close together but facing opposite direction. I have lived here for 4years and have never seen any doves in the area. okay the worst part in the matter of one week I found both the doves on different days dead! this is wierd.....is this a sign??
