I've had a hard time finding legitimate Eris Discordia lore, and sometimes I wonder if she isn't a contemporary invention designed to glorify nihilism. I've heard it mentioned that she possesses a dog-faced aspect. I've also heard that she's part of a duality of Aries/Eris.

Does anybody have any further information on her that I cannot already get from the associated folks at the Principia Discordia? I prefer dated reference material -- i/e: in historical context -- but anything legitimate will help

Most people are saying "please if you don't know, do not answer." I thought this category should be for christians, and other people who respect people only. There should be a special category for atheists only. Non-believers can be here, because they believe there's a God in heaven, they just need some time, and word of God. They may not be too upset if talk to them abt God, but Atheists will want to kill you.

My girlfriend just bought me a new fancy smancy pink dress shirt and a pair of pink slacks. She really wants me to wear it tommorow, but would gay people try to hit on me if I did wear it and would my fellow co-workers think I'm nuts?

*Disclaimer, I am not homophobic, in fact most of my friends I have are lesbians.* If my girlfriend really wants me to wear it, I will, damn love can make you do stupid things.

which is the right way to change my stupid life ?
Go to chirch and follow christ ?
Go to mosque and follow allah ?
I see lot of starving people in africa, young boys run with AK57 and killing each other , lately i saw isrial and hisbulla having war in jesus birth place , so many innocent people get caught to this problems. There were continus problems since the begining of mankind but no proper salvation. Every day i get reports of diffrent types of heuman deaths. Every day the earth is becomming a poluted place where no one can live after few 100years. The God couldnot avoid those.
Finally , I will end up in my old age like a weak old basted without proper eyesight, one ear hearing and disable to walk properly. Luckey if dye in a car accident. But if not..
Do you think the god will give me a proper answer?

I was at an office the other day, finishing up some business, and the secretary wouldnt accept my paper work. I understood that there were some issues in the work that were yet to be settled out. I told her that the guy I was giving it to would know what to do, I was confident of that. But she wouldnt take it. And I guess i got very frustrated and got very sarcastic and rude to her. I now look back at that and feel very guilty. She did not deserve it because she was just doing her job. But, should I go back and apologize? or would that just unnecessarily dig back up the experience and just make things worst? I understand how wrong it was for me to speak to her that way, so what would be best? would it be best for me to just leave it in the past?

I read this question, and I just honestly cry. Does the person or persons like this have any idea what the pro-choice position is? The death penalty, there is I hope always a time for mercy.

How would Jesus feel about this person

that wherever in the world there is a major catastrophe there are the same group of old women with their dirty clothes and veiled faces. They wail and beat their heads, putting on a show of grief and desperation!! I think that these are paid to travel around to put on this show!! Is this work full time and who pays them? On one day alone I spotted the same group in Armenia, Afghanistan, Iraq and low and behold, they turned up at the stoning in the film The Life Of Brian! just who are these woman?

Can you please just admit that homosexuality makes you uncomfortable, and stop pretending that there's a legitimate reason to oppose it on religious grounds?

Yes, same-sex relationships are forbidden in the Old Testament. So is pork. And shellfish, and clothes of different fibers, and a bunch of other stuff nobody cares about today. Most of these "abominations" stemmed from public health concerns, like preventing trichinosis from undercooked pork, or preventing the spread of disease by touching a dead body. There were also practical issues: the Israelites wanted everyone of child-bearing age to be working on creating more Israelites; hence same-sex relationships were discouraged.

Today, we have other ways of preventing disease. Also, we have more than enough people. The Old Testament abominations are obsolete in the modern world, which is why no one follows the rest of them.

So can you quit using religion as a justification and just admit that you've got personal issues?

I'll be traveling to England for the first time next summer for an entire year. People on the Internet have told me different things about English personality. I mean, nobody has been rude but some have said that they are very withdrawn and not easy to talk to or make friends with. Others have said they are very friendly. I know that it would be a big generalization and that some are withdrawn and some are friendly but people are making it seem like its impossible to make friends with a Brit. So, what do you think?

What is everyone's obsession with someone's background matching their foreground. Is it really all that important if the person likes to listen to pop and dresses goth. If they genuinely like either style, shouldn't that be all that matters? If not, are we simply reducing an outward appearence to that of culture stereotype? Say a drug dealer in the Bronx wears cowboy hats and uses words like "yee-haw". Does this make him any less of a credible drug dealer? Why should everyone have to merge into what people expect of them? When you see an asian such as myself do you automatically think "They must be a horrible driver ,but awesome at math and technology!". Does it make me a "poser" to be have nascar-like driving skills and be terrible at math and have no outstanding relationship with technology?

I don't know for sure if I am, and I am really scared that if I really am what might happen to my whole life. I'm not that old, never had many relationships, but have had feelings for people of the same sex. I have been asked out by girls that my friends consider "hot". I just don't know if I find women atractive. This is really worrying me. Also, I'm not sure how the students at my school would react if I did come out of the closet. What should I do?
