I read this question, and I just honestly cry. Does the person or persons like this have any idea what the pro-choice position is? The death penalty, there is I hope always a time for mercy.

How would Jesus feel about this person

I'm not sure the person mentioned is a true follower judging by that question, but I have seen much worse, for instance: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;_ylt=AgdBlX1BxwCNcqs3x_tPmgoezKIX?show=1512bbcf3fc75cddf9f074d6cac3a6dbaa
Jesus doesn't look down on anyone, even the worst humans, but He would be saddened by this person's misinterpretation of His teachings and adding more ignominy to His name.

I think he is all right and is bringing up a valid perspective-he's just lacking tact, probably under the impression that he needed harshness to drive home his point. Jesus would think that he is angry and needs to learn to forgive (himself).

He is simply saying that life is precious; and asking people who believe in abortion, but not death penalty, to consider the absurdity of their beliefs.

The abortion debate is flawed because it skirts the real issue. Proponents of choice assert that a child's life begins at birth; and in a weird twist of logic imply that it is not yet human. I am pro-choice, but I believe that when you have an abortion you actually extinguish a human life. To constantly go back and forth about when life begins is fruitless and naive.
As for the death penalty, we acknowledge that we are taking someones life. Defenders of the death penalty assert that it is right and good punishment for their crimes. But truly, it is not about justice...it's about not knowing what to do with them; not wanting the responsibility of keeping them around.

Abortion and the death penalty are the exact same issue.

Actually I think the guy is a poser. At least I hope he is a poser.

But I have noticed that an awful lot of conservative Christians are pretty darn hostile.

I really have to wonder what happened to...

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Probably not important, eh?

Jesus told his disciples to steal a horse because he needed a ride...he should have pulled one of his Jesus tricks and floated along.... but nooooooo, he had to steal a horse. He just got through telling to do what Moses said and not to steal, but if the lord needeth it, then it is OK. Well, with this type of reasoning I just don't have a clue what Jesus would feel.

Sad because I think Jesus would think he missed the entire point of what he was trying to achieve.

I opened that question.. I couldn't answer it.

He's a troll, not even the diehards here are that bad... or at least they wouldn't put it in writing

If he's for real, he deserves to be stoned... and not the good stoned

I think He is probably as offended as most of us. It is sad and sickening.
