...down our Christian throats? Every Christian post is inundated with non-believer hate and disagreement. One cannot even ask fellow Christians a question without having to siffen through the unbeliever garbage.

Check out my post about contradictions in the Bible. I put it up for a vote and the nonbelievers went hog wild on it voting for an answer that didn't even answer the question!

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlvTbhYlNBCbR6xedh1JCCrsy6IX?qid=20060831060848AAeh0og

And I am not even talking about just my posts. It is nearly ever Christian post there is.

What gives? Why are the heathens cramming their faith down our throats?

What does it mean to ask what the meaning of life is? Is it the same as asking "what is the purpose of all life" or "what is the purpose of my life" or "what is the definition of life" or "what is God's purpose in createing life"?

I think that people have a hard time answering this question because they really don't know what the question is asking.

I am asking this, because (in my experience always) I got the impression that lesbians are not really keen in hanging around gay guys. There were a couple of them in the halls of residence in my uni and I tried to approach them and others in general but they simply dont seem to feel this connection with people of the same "group". Do they actually prefer to be with straight guys or other lesbians more? Please, I apologise if I sound a bit ignorant but really I never had the chance to hang around with a lesbian, eventhough I would love to. I mean, I never seen or heard about a good friendship between a gay and a lesbian. Maybe I am completely wrong, and just biased on my own experiences...I would love to hear your stories or any corrections on my opinion. Thanks!

ok. so on yahoo answers this person said they pulled this muslim man's beard then punched him in the face. i'm american but i live in the middle east. i saw some of the answers, some were good. others were saying that what this person did was right! i can't belive you! have any of you lived in the middle east? have even been there? do you even personally know an arab? if you don't then you can't possiblely know what they're like. you only know what the media tells you. and if you're dense enough to belive some of the things they say, then......
you need to remeber that there are fanatics and there are normal people. you know those teens who shot all those kids at colombine? well, you know and i know that that doesn't mean that we are all going to shoot other people. most of us will/would never do that! so please keep in mind that the majorite of arabs are people like you and me.

In one of my questions I stated that I was convicted of a minor felony. I've received responses that a felony is never minor, and a misdemeanor is. Back to my current question "hasn't everyone at one point of their life had an illegal drug in their possession". I believe so whether it was weed or a illegal prescription drug(Vicodine, Ambien, ect.) but just did not get caught with it. Compared to murder, robberys, rape, trying to force a country into democracy,( that for the most part dosn't want it), stealing elections ect. How is that not a minor crime?

"In the Gospel of John, the disciple John frequently refers to himself in the third person as 'the disciple whom Jesus loved'." 4 One might argue that Jesus loved all of his followers in a non-sexual way. Thus to identify Jesus' love for John in a special way might indicate a sexual relationship. The disciple was "the" beloved. He was in a class by himself.

if you are doing something that u know God doesnt want u to do, are you happy if you just keep doing it? being self-absorbed with 'fleshly pleasures' cannot keep people happy, and i know non-believers in God might not agree with that? but then why do we keep changing our interests to fill that 'void'? do you agree that God fills the 'void' that nothing else can? NOT INTERESTED IN INSULTING RUDE COMMENTS THANX!!!!

If someone gave you something such as a tool set and then a couple of months later they asked you if they could have two of those tools back to give to someone else - is that wrong? Would I be wrong to be hurt or upset by this?

Because they have chosen (from the Greek "hariesis" which means "to choose") to "walk apart" from orthodoxy and orthopraxis.

All Protestants and fundamentalist Christians need to repent immediately! They are committing the sin of PRIDE by continuing to believe they have the answer; they are not listening to God!

Seriously. If God really wants us to be "saved" why would he insist that we believe in a 2000+ year old book that has all kinds of inconsistencies written into it by the various preachers along the way. Even god would have trouble with the parts others put in.

Why not just come down - perform some miracles at the world cup final or something that can be seen from all angles, and by everyone watching, then have god's holy writings fall from the sky for week nonstop around the world. A miracle that could not be explained away.

After seeing the televised, recorded, nonstop weeklong miracle - if you reject god, I could understand people thiking your crazy. But right now. A 2000 year old book that says a wine swigging fella rose folks from the dead and walked on water - WEAK! You really think that's the message God wants us bowing down to and believing in?

If American society genuinely cares about children, why isn’t the public outraged at the religious fundamentalists’ manipulating child abuse and pedophilia into their campaign against gay marriage?

It seems to me like a dismissal and disregard of a very significant issue. Further, although gays may have a different sexual orientation, child sexual abuse (CSA) is almost always by heterosexual family members and straight close family friends. Studies and research repeatedly show this to be the case. Stranger pedophilia is rare, and it almost always is committed by men who are straight in their adult relationships, which also is the conclusion of experts in the field. CSA and child abuse in general are predominantly “straight America” problems. I find the misinformation and political manipulation terribly disconcerting from a child welfare perspective. It’s offensive and I don’t understand why anyone who cares about children or family can tolerate it. Can you explain?
