But then, these same people turn right around and go there to go buy stuff for cheap and find wives. (moreso in Japan or Korea) Sorry to confuse ya'll!

But people are hypocrites by nature. These same people are the ones who when the words "illegal alien" are mentioned, the first thing they think about are Mexicans climbing over a fence, and sometimes Cubans sneaking in on a raft.
News flash: Mexicans aren't the only illegals in our country. Where I live, there are so many Russians, Croatians (sorry, spelling!) and many other nationalities from that area that come to America on student visas and never leave. The visa is a fake to begin with.

Speaking for myself,I would like to see more of America.

I have never seen the Grand Canyon, the Sierra Nevada Mnts.,
or the Colorado River.
I live in The San Fernando Valley,it is not very far to the border.
As a kid I went many times with my parents.I have not been to
Mexico for for over 35 years, keep in mind how close it is to me.
There is no reason I can think of to visit there. My memories
of Mexico are the filth and trash everywhere you look and
beggars everywhere. It was depressing and dirty. You don't want
to touch anything and the police take advantage of Americans
there visiting. They will bother you until they feel you are out of money, then they will move on to another tourist. They are paid so little that this is the larger part of their income.
I say "See America First"

When I visit another country I use my passport and fly.
I do not climb over the fence in the middle of the night.
I bet in Germany thats a good way to get shot at.

It isn't odd at all. If you go there as a tourist you are doing it LEGALY. Do you understand the meaning of the word? Illegals are coming here illegally henceforth the word ILLEGAL.
And as far as the crap about the Mexicans were here first, actually they weren't, but you have to pay attentionin history class to know this. Mexicans wouldn't come here until the white man got rid of all of the apaches Apaches and the rest. The Mexican people were to cowardly to even try to tame the "Wild West.Only idiotic morons would say we took it from the Mexicans. They were never here in the first place.

Not at all.

If you are here illegally, you should be sent home. Your question really point to the fact that it isn't a racial issue, like the media would have us believe. It really is an immigration issue.

Illegals aren't just mexicans either, they come here illegally from all over the world. Mexico is just a very convenient place to cross.

I happily accept American citizens of all stripes, it's what makes us great and gives us vitality.

But you need to earn your citizenship, not just wade across the river.

It's not odd at all. Visiting other countries legally is very different from illegally taking up residence there. If Americans were swimming south across the Rio Grande to go LIVE in Mexico, tht would be odd.

Yeah not all of them though. Most Americans are against illegal immigration but it's because America is extremely influenced by media and they cannot come up with their own conclusions. Sorry if I offend anyone but it's the truth. People like Lou Dobbs, among others have really contaminated the American mind with subestimation and total rejection.

We actually go through the proper legal process to go over to visit the tropical areas of Mexico. You don't see too many Americans taking vacations in Juarez.
