if you are doing something that u know God doesnt want u to do, are you happy if you just keep doing it? being self-absorbed with 'fleshly pleasures' cannot keep people happy, and i know non-believers in God might not agree with that? but then why do we keep changing our interests to fill that 'void'? do you agree that God fills the 'void' that nothing else can? NOT INTERESTED IN INSULTING RUDE COMMENTS THANX!!!!

No of course not. When I do something that displeases God I know immediately because I feel that displeasure and loss of Grace. God fills my void completely.

No Christians wouldn't be happy to keep doing something that God doesn't want you to do. This is where the Holy Spirit does His job in convicting us of sinfull behavior.

Yes God does fill the void in our lives. Please read and study the bible as often as possible. Keep asking questions from bible believing Christians and then verify their answers with the Word of God.
Hope this helps.

God is just a filler for something else that you might not have..much like those things you listed...Most Christians I have ever known were insecure, UN sure of themselves and not very educated, and when I say not educated I don't mean book smarts....I'm talking about Common sense smart. If you look beyond the bible and focus on your needs and wants trust me it feel much better and you don't have to be a crazy skank or drunk to do it.

When you accept Jesus, you become a new creature. It does not mean you become perfect or forget the past. You do strive to be more pleasing to the Lord because of His peace and Love He gives You. After all, accepting Christ as your savior makes you righteous befor God the father. Jesus bought you and all of us with His Blood. Isiah 53 vs 5.
Just pray for strenght in moments of weakness. James Chapter One really explains the sin thing well. Thanks

If your god gave you your body, and made it so that sex would give you such pleasure, did he intend for you to enjoy that pleasure, or was he trying to trick you?

Those who would deny the flesh are not truly human and do not appreciate the human experience. The real question is why do they hate being human, wrapped in flesh that can feel so good?

It takes a heck of a lot more energy to choose to live sinfully and try to justify it than to repent and change your way. It is still our nature to desire what is evil (Paul wrote at length about it), but it is our charge to "put to death the desires of the flesh". If we could be perfect now, wouldn't that be great? In the meantime, live, learn, and love the Lord.

I can't help but feel guilty when I know I'm doing something that makes God unhappy. I would much rather not do it. But, temptation is always there. It's hard to say no. But, it is possible.

i have done things on the spur of the moment, that i regretted afterwards, since i knew that the action(s) went against my God and against my personal beliefs.

that said, i have carefully thought out what i was going to do, and did it even though i am pretty certain that what i did was covered under those ten little commandments.
