I believe it's 8 weeks, I think. At least that's what I think I remember them telling me when I had MINE done. :)
Oh, and you should REALLY look into getting hoops instead. They're easier to run through (back and forth) to clean and it helps keep the infection down, because that crusty stuff doesn't build up, like it does behind the balls of the barbells.

Hmmm im a skilled proffesional Better let me have a look at em just to make sure...hahaha You have to wait at least until you can turn the barbell without it sticking to your skin...you will know what i mean..if it moves freely then ur good to go.

I would imagine a few weeks or sooner if you lube it up with something so it will slide through easily. I had mine done man does that HURT!!!
