Why do you feel the need to insult and injure? I can accept that we do not share the same view.That doesn't bother me as I believe you have the same rights and freedom. But why do you feel personally that it is your "job" to dispel or destroy others faith?Is this your calling or just a game to you? Just curious as nothing can destroy my faith.

Fundamentalists think homosexuals are evil bad guys who will burn for eternity in hell, unless they accept J.C. and the boys. They don't want gay people to be allowed to have the same rights as we do. for example they think gays should not be allowed to:

That, call this arrogant if you want, I have a high capacity for reasoning, especially abstractly, so if you insult me on the apparent basis of something I said, there's a good chance that I'll try to deconstruct your premise and destroy it, as well as your conclusion. To an extent, I'm argumentative. Sometimes I'll agree with conclusion and offer a better premise to support it.

not only with the work, but also the social part of it! i absolutely hate the school that i go to! I constantly see people asking intelligent questions (and sometimes, not so intelligent) questions, reasonable answers from people who are either with that religion not, and despite this, the most bias, rude, and cutting remarks as the best answer? Dose anyone really think that God approves of people trying to besmirch other’s believes in him? Yahoo! Answers aside, I understand that many religions have different opinions and views, but wouldn’t it just be more God-like, Christ-like, and overall kind and humane to just dwell on similarities and help strengthen faith in one another, regardless of religious backgrounds?

You know, I've always wondered why God created us. I look at this world as a scholar, and it is perfect. As a human being, it couldn't be more disgusting. I won't bother mentioning what's wrong with the world, because that would be stating the obvious. But I digress, I personally believe God has no emotions. That's why he is so hard to understand. WE give him emotions. We wrote the Bible. I know God is out there. I know he is not a man or a woman. 'IT' is God. But why would 'he' create us and give us emotions and lame choices like 'believing in God'. Why does 'he' want us to worship 'him'? Isn't that a little self centered? But there I am, giving God emotion. Was God bored, lonely? Has God ever felt an emotion. I mean, I know he 'lived' through Jesus and all...I want what you truely think about my statements. Not some phrase pulled out of the Bible. God didn't write the Bible. Tell me, as his followers, or as a philosopher, what you think, God is.

As I was drifting off to sleep after a night of drinking wine and reading the Bible I heard the Voice of God.

He Commanded me to pack my bags and leave my wife by this weekend. He also told me to give $2000 dollars to my good hearted neighbor Larry so that he can also move out of this sleazy apartment building with its roaches and thin walls.

Larry is a good friend who gives my wife foot massages to help with her tendonitis and although I love my wife I want to do right by the Lord.

Seriously...the whole god thing is the most basic form of mind-control ever- Believe that someone created the earth and follow his will (the will the people who made the religion have created) or you will have eternal suffering, but if you do you will have eternal joy....*BARF* I can understand people who had no idea of what the universe is like and full of ignorance following this stuff in medieval times but seriously..IT IS THE YEAR 2006! WAKE UP! Stop letting that fear part of your brain control you..you can start off by facing small superstitions that are all around you and see that nothing happens,.. it will make you feel very intelligent and courageous and is just all around good for you. Plz, ignorant people are violent people that can threaten my health (as they did on 9/11, holocaust..etc)...That is the only reason I care...so pleaaaase..learn about history and religions uses and all tht..I can't see how any1 still lets people control them through tht stuff...it's not healthy
