Yes, I do find them a little annoying. I have two small kids and their timing is terrible. Sometimes I just let my 4-year-old do the talking since he can and will out-talk anyone. They always come around here on Sunday mornings (trying to catch the "heathen" that aren't in church I guess) but not everyone goes to church on Sunday. They seem to have a hard time with that concept. But then, considering that sometimes I'm not sure I do enough to share my faith, I try to at least be respectful of them even though I don't agree with their methods.

They do not annoy me because I am one. Jesus' apostles went door to door preaching also and I suppose many thought they were annoying too. Actually they were hated and persecuted for doing that, so this is what we expect to happen. We preach about God's Kingdom because we have a love for others and we know that it is in fulfillment of Bible prophecy at Matthew 24:14.

Try having one in your family! My mom's a Jehovah's Witness* and my dad's a Rush Limbaugh fan. At least I'm ready if I ever need a good insanity plea.

I thank all that is holy every day that she didn't join the Watchtower* until after I'd already left home.

I don't think they are all mentally challanged, but they do annoy me. I usually don't answer the door when they come around or if I *do* answer the door, I try to politely tell them Im not interested. My husband has said things like he worships satan, then closes the door. Kinda funny, but not true.

actually i rather enjoy their visits,,,though they usually leave my house screaming.

i am trying to narrow down which of my habits it is that is so offensive to them. i have got the list down to 10 things that could be possible.

1, the large collection of knives and swords makes them nervous.
2, the collection of pre WWII guns makes them nervous.
3, my collection of Sheesha water pipes makes them think that i
am middle eastern and possibly dangerous.
4, the effigies of pagan gods that are all over my house scares
them.
5, the simple fact that i am pagan scares them.
6, the pagan religious symbols that decorate my house scare
them.
7, they find my wife's habits as a nudist offensive
8, they find my habits as a nudist offensive
9, they suddenly remember that there was a
NO BIBLE THUMPING. sign on the front door.
10, my cooking is just that bad.

Jehova Witnesses and Mormons. This is what you do next time they knock on your door answer your door naked. Gurantee they will stop coming to your house after that.

Put a "No Soliciting" sign on your door. They will still knock. Make sure you point out the no soliciting sign. They will tell you that they aren't soliciting. Let them get about three words out. Then look them in the eye, stick your finger in their face. Tell them something to the effect of "I know you aren't soliciting my wallet. But you are soliciting my soul, and that REALLY P*SSES ME OFF. Who are you to play God?"

Word gets around fast. The bell will stop ringing.

The best thing to do is tell them up front that they have to listen to you before you listen to them. They don't like to be preached too so, usually they leave.

I'm saddened , they are so misimformed or well, lied to. If you want to try something ask them in for prayer abd Bible study and pull out the study bible. Also keep some tracts and tell them you'll read theirs if they read yours.
