I'm a Christian, and a freshman in HS. well all my life i have gone to a Christian schhol, and i still am. So your prolly saying then why is she even answering my question, well alot of my best friends went to public high schools and we started talking..you really need to be careful of what you get involved into don't start cussing just becasue you see everyone else doing (don't follow the crowd..it's an old saying but it still makes sense) don't worry about the whole friends thing, there is a reason why you may not have very many friends (remember God has your life planned out and everything happens for a reason) so maybe you don't have friends because God wants you to spend some time being a witness and focusing on him..it may not all make sense to you right now but eventually you will look back and say thanks God..i will be praying for you..good luck!

Think for a moment: maybe God has put you in that school for a reason. There maybe someone who needs your help or maybe someone can help you.. God does have a plan for things that happen and if you think of it in this context it may not be so hard.. It always does me when I don't like the situation I'm in.
Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.
You can also check Isaiah 55:8-9 and Hebrews 13:5 but my absoulte fav is the one I gave you in Proverbs. It has helped me through many a hard time.

are you kidding.. not to be rude but this time of your life really has very little consequence to the larger picture of your entire life. HS is BS.. trust me. The social aspects of it have no bearing as to what you will be come unless you let it. Trust in God, dont sweat the small stuff, and IT IS all small stuff. Keep your eyes on the future and what you will do after HS for it is FAR more important.
My HS career started with me getting ousted from my friends circle. I guess i wasnt cool enough. I found one good friend that saw me threw Highschool. I suggest you find the same. Funny thing is when i left HS it was like everything .. and i do mean everything changed!. It was like finally getting out of prison. Now that im 33 i dont even think about that time in my life anymore. Im still in contact with the one friend i was talking about and threw college made many more close friends that im still in contact with. Ive found threw the years. That as far as my goals and my state of being now, my time in HS really didnt have any bearing on me personally. the only importance it does have is furthing your education, so study your a s s off so that you get into a good college.

Wow, that was my exact situation a few years ago...
I'm a junior now and it is tough for a while. But try to find people with your "interests" and it will be fine. Join a club or band or sports; that should take care of your social woes. Also, don't be so quick to judge others who are not Christians. You'll find that being friends with them pays off in the long run.
Sorry I don't have a bible verse to quote, but I hope this helps. :)

It doesn't matter what high school you've either gone to or currently enrolled in, you're going to go through some stuff(whether you're a Christian teen or not). Try to surround yourself with positive people who share God's love with you. Also, get involved in sports and clubs that interest you. Remember to hold on to your faith, and He will take you the rest of the way. Be sweet, dear.

High School doesn't last forever. But there are many advantages to immersing yourself in a "real world" type of school. You will come out stronger, more focussed, and ready for the REAL-ER world you might face in College, and especially in the real, real world. Learn and observe from all the experiences around you, but treasure your real self. Your God knows that you are strong enough, but no one is strong and powerful without challenges they have met and learned from.
Get into social life at your church in the meantime, and use your summer break for church events and gatherings.
This is real life - you can do it.

I agree. High school can be a very tough time in your life. You could do what I did: just make some friends who share a lot of your interests and values and stick together, getting through it as well as you can.

The same thing happened to me! The school will get smaller every day you're there, trust me. Soon, you'll be able to walk around the school with your eyes closed.

I am a Christian.
I didn't like High School much either. I think you just need to take it one day at a time. Try not to get too stressed out.
